Probably not this mod causing it, but asking here hoping that someone else knows a fix...
Just before Alduin dies his body explodes and fragments of him scatter everywhere in trails of black. So far so good. But in my game, the trails don't disappear until the scattered fragments do, leading to glitched black textures stretched out in stripes between each fragment (which stay there until his disembodied spirit fully disappears). In vanilla the trails disappear before the fragments hit the ground, but for me they stick around far too long and glitch out. Anyone else had this happen, or know of a fix?
The editor ID is FXAlduinDeathExplosion, which according to xEdit uses the mesh FXAlduinExplosion.nif but I can't find any mod I'm using that affects this.
These are good textures, but they are in the incorrect resolution ratio. vanilla dragon textures are height x width 2:1 ... your textures are all 1:1 ... but the meshes have not been changed. This can lead to stretching and not fully HD. Take a look at Rustic Dragons or Bellyache's HD dragons for instance; they are both in the correct ratio.
Your textures should be 4096 x 8192 not 4096 x 4096
More disturbing i find: "I saw a dragon, big as a mountain and black as the night." With this mod, there is no more black dragon in the game :( Beside that this a good mod!

Thank you for your work! This retexture is just perfect. 100% authentic and very high quality. Better then any on Nexus.
For your next retexture I suggest you to do ebony/dark metal/dark stone objects in nord ruins, like: rotating puzzle stones, black doors, dragon sculptures, sarcophagus, dragon claw puzzle doors etc. Because there is no HQ and lore-friendly retextures for these things on Nexus.
