Hi everyone! I'm not planning on updating this mod, I leave you the instructions of what I did, so you can edit all your mesh files at will.
I just edited one item with NifSkope:
Click on the mesh, then follow the path NiTriShape -> NiTriShapeData -> BSLightingShaderProperty
And edit "Lighting Effect 1" to 0.600000 (in the "broken" meshes this value was 10.000000 or 5.000000, to much!)
Save the file and you are done!
Other "working Ok" vanilla meshes have this value set to 0.300000, but this value is too dark for the "broken" meshes, 0.600000 is the perfect balance between under shadows and under direct sunlight effect.
For me, Creep Clusters are obnoxiously bright red. It occurs during the day in some instances but at night they’re literally glowing.
The only mod I have that touches them is a retexture from Cathedral Plants - no other mod I use changes or alters the Creep Cluster nif.
I opened up the nif located in the \Data\meshes\plants folder using Nifskope, but the Lighting Effect value is set to 0.
I changed it to .3 - as suggested by another person - and saved/overwrote the nif.
My game then CTD’d on save load with the crash log stating there was an access violation regarding the creep cluster nif file. The only way I could fix it was by unpacking the original nif from the Skyrim meshes bsa and placing it into the Data\meshes\plants folder.
What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else had this issue with creep clusters?
Hi. If you had the .nif file in your Skyrim's Data folder it must be modded then. Some mod installed it. Glowing very bright? Hmm maybe it had ENB particle light? You don't need to unpack the one in the original BSA. Just remove the one in your Data folder, and that one will be used. If you use ElSopa textures, they are a bit too bright for my taste, I edited them here for my game.
No, as they'll replace the vanilla meshes, and my fixes too. As I don't use it, so you'll have to check if their "Lighting Effect 1" is too much, instructions on the sticky post. I hope this helps.

I believe this "extra glow" was intentional from Bethesda, so the console (TV) users could spot them easily.
Now it's fixed.
