Ok I installed the .dat file and when I opened up the instance the category section is blank. how do I fix this? I am running the current version of MO2.
This file is better than the built-in categories and better than any of the others I've seen posted.
Starting at 1000 instead of one and leaving gaps for additions seems like a good idea.Providing some handling for sites other than nexus is a nice bonus.
You should update the main page with some of the discussion from earlier posts about folder locations.
Thanks for creating this. Is there a way to have MO check the nexus and select the correct category for existing mods in the list? You mention in the description something about when you query info on a mod but I'm not sure if that means it'll sync the category.
I can't seem to figure it out if it exists. Don't mind doing it manually but no point if there's a better way!
Depends on what install you used, if it's the portable version (Use MO folder for data), yes, if instance, the instance folder (default is C:/Users/[Username]/AppData/Local/ModOrganizer/[Game name].
Oops, I should have specified that, heh. Thanks for the prompt reply bud, thanks again.
Any idea on how to get the mod manager download working so I don't have to keep using manual? Keeping things up to date is tedious without it automatically knowing what version I'm using.
The Download with Manager button seems to be working fine now, at least for myself. Please try again to see if you are still experiencing the problem. However, do note that some mods on the Nexus such as this one should not be installed via a mod manager. This file has to be manually copied to your Mod Organizer profile folder.
There's a plugin to add to MO2 to make it detect Special Edition http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1725/? (I think that the one I use). There's still the bugs present in last version of MO2 with it tho. The file I provide is only for categorization.
