Are your vampire eyes reverting back to default every time you load up your game? It's a Skyrim issue and unrelated to this mod, but this mod might fix it.
Hello! Love your mods. Can we port them to PS please? Appropriate credits will be given. If you want us to add anything do let us know and we can add that in the description
Sure that's fine with me, as long as you check with any credited mods whose files I've included that they're fine with their assets being uploaded outside of the platform :)
It seems your mod has problem with heterochromia. For image reference you should look at your mod images. Look at the redhead in ancient nord armor. Sorry about not posting the image here. The site absolutely refuses to let me post a link in it. Even one from your own gallery.
Yes and no, the base game doesn't have heterochromia options for vampire eyes and I haven't added any in my mod. Forcing heterochromia where it "shouldn't" be will almost always result in misaligned eyes, because you are replacing regular eyes (that have two identical eye meshes in one headpart) with separate eye meshes that are divided into two separate headparts.
I might add heterochromia in the next update but that's not something I will be working on anytime soon as I have other uploads that are planned first. There are no issues posting images btw, you just need to insert the entire url including the file extension. Rightclicking an image and selecting "copy image address" should give you the proper link
It can be one of two things depending on if it truly is *all* vampires or not - it's either a mod conflict (AFT and its many variations is known to mess with vampire eyes) or just the base game working as it does if unmodded vampire NPCs get the yellow glow but modded ones don't. Glow is part of the eyes in NPC facegen, so regardless which eye texture you use the glow won't be affected unless the new eye meshes (with the glow) has been baked into NPC facegen. If you use the comments search bar above and type in yellow, you will see some responses with explanations and fixes from me. Feel free to provide more details if you need additional help :)
I run very few mods in my game, so it is highly unlikely to be a mod conflict. It only happens on NPCs that are part of the original game. None of your add NPC vampires have this problem. I think I'm just going to have to learn to live with it though because none of the fixes are compatible with NPC replacers. Even if it is annoying, it is still WAY better then running with the vanilla vampire eyes.
P.S. Thank you for taking the time to answer my inquiry.
Then it's an easy fix! I wrote this in another reply (which you can find by searching for yellow in the comment search) so I'll just be brief - you can download "PAN_Lamae's Gaze - vanilla vampires" in the optional files section and place it very early in your mod list, before any mods that alter NPCs in any way. That will replace your vanilla vampires with ones using these eyes
Firstly I LOVE this, been using it for a long time in every modlist lol. Just had the idea, was wondering if there'd be a chance of a mod like this but for werewolves perchance? 0.o
😮 orc/beast race versions didn't even cross my mind, those would be awesome aswell! lol. Love your work, can't wait to see what else you have in store ♥ (new mod is beautiful btw)
so idk if this is suppose to happen or what, but i'm having a issue...so i downloaded the Pandorable's vampires customization file for this mod and the initial download works but whenever i close the game back to desktop and then reenter it's no longer the eye color i chose. (i'm picking purple)but instead is reverting to the glowing version of defualt organge. what should i do
The vampires customization file only affects my other vampire mods, so my vampire followers, Serana replacer and the vampires from my Dawnguard NPC overhaul. It doesn't affect the player character or any other vampires in the game. Once you've selected the eye color for those in the customization file installer, it isn't possible for them to change except maybe if you have a mod that messes with vampire eyes. I know AFT has a tendency to do that with Serana for example, but that will revert them to vanilla vampire eyes and not the orange ones from this mod.
For the player character though, that is only affected by the main file download of this mod. Eyes reverting back to the default option upon reload is unfortunately a Skyrim issue - I have found this mod that might help with it, another user commented back and said that it worked so try that and see :)
Hello ! sorry to bother i dont know a lot a thing but can someone help me ? i just cant have the black/darker color in the background (like in the eye not the pupil) of the eyes it's always white and i dont understand why , thanks in advance !
edit i dont know why but it only works for me with an older version of the mod the one from april 2020 so no multiple color but it work and yes my game is updated
Hi, I would need some more information to be able to help you. That's best done on discord, my server is linked above and in the #troubleshooting channel there's a pinned comment with info needed. Definitely going to need a screenshot of the issue as well in order to understand what's going on
soo I'm probably going to get some hate for this but I don't really like the glowing effect from the eyes, my Character doesn't have the glowing effect and neither does the volkihar vampires and it looks good, but the generic vampire npc scattered around the world, Their eyes glow like a charismas tree and it really pulls from the immersion (For me at least). Is there a way to disable the glow effect for the npcs?
This mod doesn't get applied to NPCs unless you export NPC facegen with this mod installed. Your PC has the full effect of this mod and the volkihar vampires (I'll assume they're from my dawnguard overhaul) were made with it so they do as well. The other NPCs were not so they have either the vanilla vampire eye glow or from another mod while using the textures from this mod. In other words it's not caused by this mod, but you could install it in your default Skyrim directory and then generate NPC facegen in the CK to make the rest look the same.
i have no idea how to do that XD, all I do is install mods haha imma shoot my shot and say, can you tell me how to do it step by step plss :) (its most likely gonna be a no hahah)
There's a guide here, you only need to read the bit at the bottom. Make sure you have installed Lamae's Gaze manually by putting the files from this mod into the Skyrim Special Edition/Data folder. Then open the Creation Kit in the Skyrim Special Edition folder and follow the steps in the bottom of the guide.
thanks I tried but couldn't find the "lamae Gaze" plugin in the pop up menu, I tried Pan DG plugin to see if it that would work but it didn't work... I guess I'll just leave it then thx for the help
The mod doesn't have a plugin, it's only meshes and textures so it won't show up in the plugin list but it's still installed if the files are in the right place. The meshes is what matters here, you just have to place the "meshes" folder from the mod in your Data folder and generate the facegen after. It will overwrite the vanilla meshes to give the vampires the same eyes as my overhauled vamps. You can do this!
Ummm so the file is in the right spot but I don't know how to make the facegen, In the guide it says "click File > Data. A popup will show containing your mod list. Select your character overhaul mods and the patch created by xEdit." So I did that but it wasn't there like you said, the next bit was telling me to go to Actors-Actor and a list of NPCs will be there but that when I get lost because when I got there, there is no NPCs and at that point I'm sitting here saying to my self "the hell do I do haha I cant even start". After that I watched a couple of YouTube vids to hopefully find a solution annnnd when the youtuber followed the guide (which I couldn't do because she had a mod that was in the plugin list) the list of NPCs was there but she clicked only one person so that had me thinking do I click on every NPCs there or just the NPCs tagged as vampire? Sorry if I'm being a Nuisance just trying to learn and get this done
You're not seeing anything because nothing is loaded - load the base game esm files (technically you'd only need to load dawnguard.esm but I recommend doing them all as shown) by ticking them in the plugin list and then hitting the OK button. What I assume happened in the tutorial is that they only clicked the mod esp, which is fine because any plugin you tick will automatically also load all of its dependencies. So for example, if I load up my Dawnguard overhaul in the CK, it will automatically also load skyrim.esm and dawnguard.esm. Edit: you can just pick out every single vampire NPC and generate those, it's very tedious but of course won't generate all the other thousands of unnecessary facegen. I would personally just do them all though because I'm lazy :D
OMG THANNNK YOOOUUUU IT FINALLY WORKED!!!!!!!! :3 :3 :3 NOW THEY DONT HAVE EYES LKE THE SUUN AT NIGHT XD HAHAHAHA, I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH, I would upload a pic if I knew how to. Thankkksss ( Now I Got to fix my character haha he has the glowy effect for some reason)
hi again lol umm so I have multiple saves and I like switching it up with the different saves but I noticed that when I hopped on the save who was a vampire she had glowing eyes along with every other vampire? do I have to redo facegen thing again, I've made test saves and they all have glowing eyes and the white bit of the eyes shine bright yellow now?
Only mods that I have that changes the eyes for NPCs are Natural Eyes SSE and Lamae's Gaze. I have removed the vampire eye meshes and textures and the _g.dds file from Natural eyes for Lamae's Gaze to take priority, still the sclera glows yellow (on NPCs) but thankfully the iris is still using your texture and meshes
NPCs aren't affected by what meshes you have installed, they have their own facegen where that is baked in. Either an NPC overhaul is replacing the facegen you generated when doing the steps above in the CK or you made a mistake somewhere along the way
So I finally figured out the problem, it was diverse Skyrim mod, totally forgot I had that downloaded haha, in that mod there are more variations of vampires that wasn't effected by the facegen Thingy you told me to do, So I ended up making another facegen but with diverse Skyrim mod active only and it worked, all the vampires look just like your mod Pandorable's Dawnguard, finallyyyyyy haha
wow been looking all over for this info and finally found it on your page, just for that im using your eyes lol could you sticky this post please its very helpful for those who have no idea about exporting facegen files in creation kit
