    Common Errors and how to fix them

    A giant messagebox saying something about Papyrus Extender - Install or update Papyrus Extender.

    Error Code 126 - Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019.

    Error Code 114 - Either you're using an ancient version of Skyrim (1.5.39 or lower) or you haven't installed Address Library For SKSE Plugins. or your SKSE tool in Vortex is set to run in the data folder instead of the root folder.

    If you experience stack dumping, I recommend turning off after death effects, under Global Settings - Trigger Effects When Dead.

    If armor is not being equipped correctly on charred/drained NPCs, it means there is a script mismatch, and you will have to reset all charred/drained tracked NPCs, under Fixes in the MCM

    FEC MCM can be used to customise almost every single option. Seriously. Look at the MCM, and turn off effects you don't like or whatever

    I'd love the ability to burn corpses with torches or on a fire or something. I know there's one mod that does something similar, but the effects on this one are outstanding! Is there a console command to apply the affect to a corpse? I do have some vampires I need to dispose of in the inn.

    Hello powerofthree,
    So I still like the old version that only changes the npc's skin with burned effects. like what happens to animals and other creatures.
    The new Draugr-like transformation is a cool feature but the part when i burned an Argonian or Khajiit they turn into human draugr corpses too.
    There already exist a Draugr and Skeleton version for the Argonian or Khajiit like the ones Undead FX used https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5197?tab=images

    I know that's gonna be a hassle task for you considering you do this for free, so maybe just add a light option that uses the old version features in the MCM instead. What can you say?

      Mod is working fine. it just lost its ability to cook meat in corpses. but that's fine, i prefer cooking meat on Cooking Pots.

    Just to make sure I understand, the VR patch is no longer needed since the main mod has VR support now, correct? I finally got to updating my whole mod list and I got the latest builds of the patch and mod when using both they override each other. Awesome mod btw, especially for a mage :)

      The last version that FEC supports for VR is 3.2.5.

      The VR patch is still needed.

      Ok thanks for letting me know. Vortex just asked the patch to be BEFORE the main mod that's why I wasn't sure.

      I'm also getting 1114 error in the vr patch, I've installed Address Library For SKSE Plugins and updated c++, neither seem to make the error go away.

    Hey, first of all let me say I love this mod! It's had a permenant place on my mod list since it was first released.
    Second, I was wondering if there would be any way to apply the extreme aging or desicated effect to the player permenantly through console commands? Basically I was going for an "drained by a vampire and left scared and deformed (Emperor Palpatine vibes!)" role play.

    I know it's unlikely that it's possible but would appriciate any help/suggestions you can offer.

    Love the mod, especially the explosion effect is pretty cool. I've been wondering, are there any plans to make the explosion effect apply to creatures or at least the humanoid ones like draugrs?

    I've installed everything with NMM, it appears on MCM and the effect it's not triggering. Does anyone knows if it conflicts with other mods?

    Oh man, please help. FEC hasn't been working for months. I just did a fresh system install: Win 10 Pro, Steam, Skyrim SE.

    most up-to-date versions of all.

    FEC just won't trigger. It appears in the MCM, but when I turn on statistics and attack some bandits, it says 0 in range being tracked. So it never triggers. I tried installing old version 2 of FEC to compare and that triggered sometimes (was set to 100% though). Back in 3.6, I tried killing bandits with sparks and flames... nothing. I hit their dead bodies with the spells. Nothing.
    Can anyone tell me what might be going on here?

    I think this mod broke the Pale Lady Quest, the Pale lady killed the Ra'jirr by Freezing him solid, When i took the sword from the frozen popsicle the quest did not update! I only realized this after i had played for two more hours, now the quest stuck, i have the sword but the quest still wants me to take it from the corpse that no longer exists!

    Hey, the people frozen in place in my game are not geting the blue/frozen layer above the skin/armor like in the pictures. They just stay in place, with a small blue smoke effect. Do you have any idea of what may be the cause?

    epic mod, i really like the extended death sequence, would it be possible to have an option for freezing in place as an iceblock?
