    PSA: This mod edits facegen data so you will have to use Xedit to fix any conflicts.

      Ughhhhhhhhhh. So I switched the CC Gray Cowl with the mesh and textures from this mod because that AE version looks derpy AF. Now my character's face has been switched with the texture from this mod... Why would the author do this? How do I use xEdit to fix this?

    would it be ok to make a personal mod to replace the ae gray cowl with yours??? yours works better

    How is this different/better from the MannyGT mod of (basically) the same name?

      This is a much shorter mod. His is practically DLC sized while this is just a short quest with a cool item.

      mannygt's Cowl does not remove the Grey Cowl's bounty when you unequip it.

      If someone were to merge iceburg's Cowl into the mannygt's quest...

      when i unequipped it with that mod it got rid of bounties though

      you can probably just download it manually and add it to your mod manager manually, then turn it on? its just textures, should work?

    This is an awesome mod and thanks so much for bringing the grey cowl back, but when I take the cowl off, I still have all the bounties.
    Have I done something incorrect? or maybe load order? I haven't seen anyone else post with this quirk.

    any help would be appreciated, I love this cowl, but the glitch is killing me.

      for me it seems to keep the bounty of a specific hold if i equip/unequip it in that hold, no matter if i was detected or not

    Ok from the looks of this I'm wondering if this mod is even supported any longer? After all there hasn't been a posting by the other in a while. Hopefully someone can answer my question for me.

    I have 3 keys, 1 from each of Vex, Viper and ninruin. The one I cant figure out is the one for Loot which is according to the book Myself. Any help on this would be appreciated.

      The guy who wrote it is Delvin Mallory, so he's what "myself" is referring to.

    I think I'm gonna like this mod a lot better than the huge DLC grey cowl of nocturnal mod. I don't want it to add any new cells or locations and I want to be able to play as close to vanilla as possible. I've been looking for oblivion related skyrim mods and this is the closest i can get to it. Thank you for making this mod even though you are not updating it or working on it anymore. I hope you reply soon but if you don't, that's okay. I'm gonna test this out on my current playthrough.
