For those of using ELFX I read you have to disable something in the package to get it to work?

    Thanks

Not anymore. There used to be a plug-in to fix a specific chandelier that conflicted with a record in ELFX's plug-in, but I found a way to fix the chandelier by editing the object's mesh instead.

impchandelliercandle01.nif conflicting with Ruins Clutter Improved
    Should I let RCI overwrite?

No, you should let it overwrite RCI, as RCI uses the same chandelier mesh as SMIM.

Two files conflict with cathedral landscapes. Should your mod overwrite that as well?

If Cathedral has it's own textures for the SMIM bridge, let it overwrite my mod.

After a closer look it seems like cathedral is using original smim texture so I overwrote with yours.

    I see no ChangeLog.
May I ask what the recent update entails?

Looks like the chandelier fix no longer uses an ESP file, and now the fix in the mesh itself (the .nif file).

Excellent fix but who uses ELFX does not need it, it would be appropriate to add a note in the description page

Do we need .esp if using other Lighting mods, like Lux / RS / Window Shadows etc?

As far as I'm aware, yes. ELFX is the only lighting mod that's been reported to disable that specific chandelier. If you want to make absolutely sure, you can check in SSE Edit by loading this mod's .esp and your lighting mod's .esp to see if they edit the same record. If your lighting mod gives that record the disabled flag, then you don't need my .esp.

I have the exact same problem but in DragonReach castle in Whiterun. The chandeliers hanging on ceiling disappeared. Just the flames remains. I run SMIM and have many mods that modifiy lights, candles, and dragonreach itself so the problem could come from anywhere. But at least this mod gives me a clue about where it comes from more precisly

Just tested out Dragonsreach with just SMIM and the unofficial patch, and the chandeliers are where they should be. It must be a different mod affecting Dragonsreach, then.

Well done! I have played for years and never noticed it. But it has nothing to do with SMIM. It's a pure bad placement of a vanilla chandelier.
    Added to my list.

I tested this without any mods besides the unofficial patch and alt start on and the chandelier was just fine without SMIM.
