Alternate Potion Drinking Animation current animations:
    >Blood Vial Animation- the player injects themselves in right thigh like in blood borne to heal themselves, Reference - https://youtu.be/58yuA4eEgx0
    >Chest Pound- The player punches themselves in the chest to heal.(Particularity for barbarian/berserk er play styles)

Will eventually add more alternate animations for healing with potions.

does the animation apply on Npcs that use potions? Cause this mod might be the one I'm looking that does not require nemesis

It works! I saw her drink 1 or 2 potions when backing up wounded.

the bloodborne animation is neat and goes great with the glenmoril mod :)
However it can be improved to look more aggressive (as seen in video the hunter slightly bends legs and hunches over)
Currently the animation only affects the arms which looks stiff

Edit: I see in the comments that this was due to a limitation in the required mod, so please take this suggestion if youre still working on your own mod :)

Dark souls UI (you need two things):
      - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22517?tab=description

      Dual wield pose:
i believe it was this mod -https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65934/?
note: you need to port it to special edition. its easy to learn how to port animations from old skyrim to special edition. look up a guide.

The mod could use some more aggressive movements, but otherwise it's great man. I don't do any actual modding myself (besides converting files from Oldrim to Skyrim, Bodyslide etc.) so I don't have the right to chew anyone down. I understand that it's hard to perfect these animations, so instead of adding more alternatives, I think it's best to focus on these two since the foundation's there (and it's looking good so far), but that's not up to me.

Honestly i felt the same way about making the movements more aggressive but I was surprised to find out that the mod Potion Animated Fix only calls for the right arm bones only during the animation. I noticed this when i was testing out the animations in-game and only the right arm was moving. So its not that i didn't try to make them aggressive its just that unfortunately i ran into a limitation that forced me to only use a certain part of the skeleton. And i feel the exact same way as you though because i really did want more movements but then i forgot that this is skyrim and it has a ton of engine limitations so even if i were to have access to more bones i would literally have to animate not only the stationary animation but the running and walking animations for potion consumption. The reason potion animated fix only calls for the bones in the right arm is for that reason i believe so its less work on them.
Im hoping i can make up from this limitation with the new mod im working on it will be a dodge animation and it wont be the classic rolling animation either, look out for it on the nexus.

Any chance of making the animation faster despite the limitation? I think it might make it feel more aggressive like the one in blood borne,

Another limitation because if i were to make the animation play at 60 frames then a bug will occur where you play the animation so fast that it plays twice in quick succession. It is really weird and i dont know why it happens. Sorry i really dont know how to fix that. So the animation itself has to play at 30 frames in order for it to work properly.

Is it possible to keep the weapon equipped during the animation while making it temporarily invisible?
If your weapon is buffed before using a potion it wears of, the method above might mitigate that problem.

I actually didn't know it had that issue of taking off buffs from weapons, but unfortunately im not able to do anything about that issue because i have no knowledge on coding or programming for skyrim i only do animations for right now(Also the potion Animated Fix Mod is not mine so you may have to ask the mod author about that). I believe its a engine limitation on skyrim's part for not being able to play a drinking animation at the same time keeping a weapon in hand.

I'd like to use this mod and Potion Animated Fix, but unluckily they seem to not be compatible with CACO. Besides, I remember having tried Potion Animated Fix and its drink animation started too slowly, meaning a 1-2 seconds delay after I actually activated the hotkey.

From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like CACO has anything that interferes with Potion Animated Fix. I dont see why it wouldn't be compatible as PAF doesn't edit the perk tree nor does it overhaul anything concerning alchemy and cooking. All it does is add a behavior and script to play a animation when consuming potions. As for your 1-2 second delay that could be script lag from either low fps or script heavy mods you have. I do remember that used to happen to me when playing with multiple combat mods that adds scripts mid-combat. Also PAF is meant to be a balance mechanic so you cant just jug multiple healing items in the inventory menu so you and the npcs will play a animation after consuming a item.

It isn't compatible with CACO, because CACO adds an effect when drinking potions, that heals you by time (max 10 seconds). When you install PAF, its healing from drinking potions overlaps with the one from CACO, meaning you heal yourself twice per potion. This has been a known incompatibility since years...

"Also PAF is meant to be a balance mechanic so you cant just jug multiple healing items in the inventory menu so you and the npcs will play a animation after consuming a item." --> This is obvious, and CACO has the same goal by limiting you to 1 potion use for 5 or 10 seconds and not using more than 1 potion per type (heal, stamina, magicka). CACO is definitely good, but my love for Dark Souls and Bloodborne makes me prefer PAF over its potion management. Unfortunately it seems that I cannot use them together.

PAF's delay is also a very well known issue with that mod, but it could very well be a problem on my end (script lag) even though there are many people who declare on PAF's comment page that they have this lag ONLY when using potions animation from that mod (including me).

The mod Potion Animated Fix (SE) has a potion drinking animation this is just a replacer for that animation.

edit: Also i might add another animation to this page that is a drinking animation but maybe in a different position.

I never played with animated eating redux so i dont know exactly how the mod handles drinking potions. You could test it though by finding the animation for potion drinking in the files folder and try renaming my animation to it to see if it changes it at all.
