so um... searching for mods and i came across this. um.. this mod is pointless, unless bethesda changed it. it was always this way; only the player could kill followers. that's how i remember it back when i played without mods.
Just Sharing some information regarding some people having problem with the Invulnerability, you may try to learn about Creation Kit or xEdit/SSEEdit and try to fiddle with what's in it by yourself. On this case, find "Flags (sorted)" column and 'untick' the box that says "invulnerable" and you're done. Now you can deal damage to these NPCs and brawling won't be a matter anymore.
You can do this on each of the NPC there or all of them.
This actually breaks a LOT of quests. You can't do any "Brawls" with companions because their health never goes down, and it also prevents the Boeithia Sacrifice Quest from even completing.
Does this also make potential companions invulnerable, because Carsnach in Markath can be brawled with, but his health never goes down, and it's not the Brawl Bug. He's immortal
Or one that has all followers set to Essential rather than invincible, I don't mind if they take damage, I just don't want them to die.
Also, I just ran through an SSEdit of my mods, and this mod contains appearance data for the NPCs affected. New to modding so I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but if you can just leave the appearance fields blank, then this would allow us to run mods like WICO and this without getting brown face.
ALL Followers, including every humanoid that can be aquired as a follower, on top of this all dogs and horses are protected too from anything but the player.

Think you could make one that sets EVERY follower to Essential-flagged (Invincible even to player dmg)?

Does this mod only apply to animals, or does it also apply to humans and elves?
So, it makes them immune to death UNLESS the damage comes from the player?
