Do It Yourself Custom Mesh Adjustments
If you're using a custom armor or shield mesh, and as a result cannot use the optional downloads, but would still like to get the more pearly blue texture for your female armor or shield, the steps below will work to do so, IF and ONLY IF your custom armor/shield mesh uses the vanilla pathed glass textures. Any other mesh replacers using their own custom textures are incompatible with my texture replacers, which are built for the vanilla UV Maps only.
To make your own edits, you'll need:
-Nifskope
-a BSA extractor (only if your meshes are packed into a BSA)
Pre-Steps (BSA only): using whichever BSA extractor you prefer, unpack the meshes you need to alter to a location on your computer where they will be easily accessible.
