I installed this mod, and it mostly does what it says on the tin, but I can no longer add gold through the command line. That doesn't really matter as I was only testing my load order for incompatibilities and needed to add gold for testing purposes. But when I type the command for add gold it gives me "Gold" but it doesn't register as the game is looking for "septims". But, if I search "help septim" nothing comes up. So my inventory item will say "2000 Gold" but in the bottom right corner it says "0 Gold".
The other oddity is in the Main Menu under Items in the bottom right corner it still says "Gold".
I also don't mind the NPCs saying "Gold" because I doubt there is any way to fix that, but it would be great if other references to "Gold" were changed as well, such as with beggars you could say "Here, have a septim" instead of "Gold".
Also the Empire outlawed the worshipping of Talos, not Tiber Septim himself, they were forced by the Thalmor to ban Talos worship, they didn't rewrite any chronicles, or other books ever mentioning the Emperor Tiber Septim in Tamriel's history. So there's no need to erase his face from the coins (I think it's him on there, not any of his descendant). In short, Thalmor forced the Empire to drop the godly acts of Talos, but not the Emperor Tiber Septim.
When I install this mod, use LOOT, and build a bashed patch, the weight is still registering 0. I am carrying 20K so it should be 200! What am I doing wrong? Does it not work in an existing save? The name changed, but not the weight. Please help!
It would be awesome if you could fix that! CC's HQ Septims has a extra plugin that does that. However it removes the weight from this mod if you use it. I'm stuck in limbo here. I guess a bashed patch could work, but I don't know how to that... yet.
Well, the currency of the Elder Scrolls has been called a lot of things throughout the games. Sometimes NPCs will refer to them as Drakes or Septims but they always have been labelled as 'Gold' in game.
As with money in real life, people call it different names all the time. I know this is only a way to excuse the fact that I only know for certain that the gold coins are called septims only in the examples shown on the images, but I think it is a little nice detail to have when I play.
it's more for the player to see Septim instead of Gold. How the hell did you come to the conclusion that the mod is uselss if npc's don't refer to it as septim? >.>
The name change is appealing but I am going through Soltheim and have amassed 40,000 gold during my adventures there. Might be a bit of an issue. Would definitely use this mod if the rich man hate went away Offering a second optional download would be nice.
Why did you add weight? There are already plenty of mods that make the 0.1 ingredients and miscellaneous items weightless, so I don't see how you thought we wanted to be weighed down.

Does it also change Gold in the inventory screen?

Works perfectly.
