Not sure if this mod is at fault or not, but I ran into some mod added books that reference something called $PrintedFont. Because this font is not mapped in the fontconfig.txt they appeared with the empty boxes like other people have reported for the creation club interface. If you want to fix this, just add ;map "$PrintedFont" = "Morris" Normal ;map "$PrintedFont" = "Golden Type" Normal ;map "$PrintedFont" = "Kingthings Petrock" Normalsomewhere in fontconfig.txt and uncomment the font you want to use.
I didn't even know I needed this mod, but now I need to pick between this and my favorite font mod Sovngarde. I always thought what Skyrim needed was minor, small events that used to happen a lot in VERY IMMERSIVE older dungeon crawlers, traditional RPG's and games like Might and Magic 2 and 3.
For instance, you're walking down a dungeon hallway and stub your toe for say 12 DMG. A small popup window would show stating this. I think this font style would be perfect for a mod like that. If you ever play or view anything to do with the Sega Genesis RPG version of Shadowrun has a TON of small event pop ups like this.
Or you come across some random enemy that isn't presented on screen, but only through a minor user interface window describing your interaction. I would love it if Skyrim had a mod like that.
If you ever read this reply I have a fix for that. Use and install your mods in the VANILLA Skyrim SE Data Folder. It should be Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Interface - I install a bunch of files in there and the easy thing is, the folder doesn't exist until you create it and once you do, you can get over issues like losing the Creation Club issue by just disabling a mod like this or any mod over writing the Data/Interface - this happens with Mod Organizer.
The latin character sets are all included so I would take a guess it should work but I haven't tested that. Let me know if it works OK for you if you try it!
One of the screenshots indicates you have modified the "layout" for books/notes. Does this mean the text "box" has been resized? I've noticed that mods that have books/notes with images display as if there isn't enough room for them and truncate the images (or show up blank).
