If anyone is interested in the retexture I'm using is the Black and Gold Ebony Weapons Retexture by T9X69. Here's the link. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4141
Hi, can i ask your for a request :D I did once made a mock up for a ebony Sword, but never had time to finish it. Here is the link. What do you say? Maybe you are interested into it? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/632068 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/612578
A bit new to modding but is there a way to have Variant 2 Sword and Variant 4 Greatsword? Like, how do I manually edit the files if at all possible? Or perhaps if it's possible to have a FOMOD for these variants in the future where you can customize which sword replacer to implement. :3
Hi,Love your work and have used the scabbard from to add to my own personal in game weapon. I was wondering if you would allow me to upload the weapon using your scabbard as a mod for all, with full credit of course.Fully respect your answer either way, :)
A bit late but thanks! It would be best to ask the original author to have their own take of a daedric version of their sword to retain its likeness that you're looking for.
Daedric in general is a finicky customer so it'll be quite a while until its turn.
Hi, I love you designs. I just have a couple of questions. What is Ebony Edge - Standalone ESPFE (Leveled-List Integration)?
When I used 'Ebony Edge - Variant 3' it changed my weapon - why doesn't the one with leveled list integration change my weapon? I'm new to modding btw.
Also, what is 'Ebony Edge - Standalone ESPFE (No Leveled-List)'? What does it do different from the rest?
To start: - Standalone plugins will add all weapon variants as new weapons and would not replace any models (sword or greatsword).
As for the difference between the two Standalone plugins: - The "Leveled-list integration" plug-in would add all variants to the game which you can obtain thru crafting and find/loot them in select NPCs in the world.
- The "No Leveled-list" plugin would only make the variants obtainable thru crafting.
As for the main files, they all replace the vanilla model of the Ebony sword and greatsword. You can use both the Main file replacers (any one of them)and one of the Standalone plugins, if you don't mind having two of the same models, although everything is named as "Ebony Sword" or "Ebony Greatsword" so you wouldn't notice this much (unless I'm forget something vital atm).
I hope this helped, and thanks for trying the mod as well!
Thanks a lot for this mod, great work! This got to be the best looking ebony sword replacers out there. I personally never liked the default look of ebony weapons, and it was surprisingly hard to find a good-looking replacement that wouldn't clash with the vanilla game's style. The fact that those are just meshes that use default textures is also lovely.
That being said, I seem to have stumbled upon a bit of a problem with this mod, specifically - how blood decals show on the weapons. They seem to display incorrectly, appearing like just some symmetrical red lines on the edge of the blade, instead of a usual "blood splatter" like on most other weapons. Can this be fixed in any way?
Hi! That symmetrical blood decal is totally my fault for taking the easy route in my early days of amalgamation
I will take a note of that, and I will give you a heads-up whenever things are properly fixed. (might as well throw a curved 5th variant for the update... maybe maybe...)
Many thanks for taking the time in bringing up this issue!
A bit late, but thanks! You might want to check out my Miraak's Sword replacer since the swords use the same Ebony materials albeit a bit different when it comes with the texture.

Thanks
Hope you can get back to designing more models from vanilla. Many thanks sire!
Curious i am about you take on my sktech.
I am trying to do a sketch for the ebony greatsword.
This'll be primed as variant 5, though I'll try an alternate look with a curved blade that I'll be experimenting next. 😀
I will send a message your way whenever this mod is updated in particular, FOMOD and 5th variant included. 😉
Thanks!
Especially if its design looks like this XD

Always bugged me how much of the vanilla blade was taken up by the hilt. May as well have been a spear.
Lovely work, more ebony swords please!
