Are you using any other NPC appearance mods, such as Bijin?

Other NPC appearance mods will typically have higher priority than this mod, so they will control hairstyles of the NPCs they affect.

Also, this mod only affects vanilla NPCs. This mod does not affect NPCs added by other mods. Nor does this mod affect NPCs added by AE Creation Club content.

does this conflict with a bijin mod?

The Bijin mods will have higher priority than this mod, meaning if you use this mod together with Bijin mods, the NPCs changed by Bijin will have the Bijin appearance, including hairstyles.

It is not possible for two mods to change the same NPC’s appearance. The highest priority mod will win.

Yes, that is the recommended approach.

No, this mod only affects vanilla NPCs. This mod does not affect NPCs added by other mods.

okay and is this mod compatible with dismembering framework and does maybe a mod exist that just replaces the vanilla hairs with better so every npc is covered?

I don’t use Dismembering Framework so I can’t comment on that.

A mod to replace hairstyles of all NPCs would have to use SPID to distribute wigs.

This mod is not compatible with any other mods that change the vanilla head parts.

If you use a mod that changes the vanilla head parts, then you must use NPC replacers that are compatible with that mod.

Just wanted to say that your work is still appreciated. I am running a Steam Deck Collection and I have added yours as a way to save a TON of file space. I hope you have the best day possible!

Reinstalled skyrim. The mod seems to work fine but for certain NPCs (well mostly just old ladies like fralia graymane) are just bald instead of having hair. Im using the fem only version btw.

    Any fixes?

This mod provides KS Hairdos for vanilla NPCs. The “vanilla” in this mod’s name refers to vanilla NPCs, not vanilla hairstyles.

This mod does not change hairstyles of any NPCs added by other mods.

Only one mod can change an NPC’s appearance. The game engine requires the hairstyle to be part of the NPC head mesh. The highest priority head mesh will win, and be used by the game for that NPC.

It sounds like another mod is changing Brynjolf’s appearance in your game. His head mesh from that mod must be overriding the head mesh from this mod.

The only way to change an NPC hairstyle separately from their facial appearance is to use a wig. Unfortunately I don’t know whether male wig mods are available.

this mod is awesome to bring some old mods life, but this definatley  not compatible with botox of skyrim. it completely reverts all npcs in that mod to potatoface npc. if anyone can give  a shout on a solution or how to exclude every names npc covered in that mod, cheers. keep up the good work tho dude

You want to choose either Botox or this mod. They are not intended to be used together.
