A silly question. With "- compatible with all weapons mods" it mean new custom weapons introduced by mods (like dawnguard arsenal) are still covered by this mod? Or it mean just vanilla weapons will be influenced even if their stats were already modified by other .esp?

My understanding after reading through the description is that this mod does not actually change any weapons, it simply changes the reach of weapon TYPES. So if a mod creates a new 2H sword and gave it the "2 handed sword" type attribute, this mod would affect its reach. Make sense?

I wish there was a mod that hit a happy middle ground between this mod and vanilla, but since I'm too lazy to learn how to use xEdit (for now), this mod is fine. It's got its problems, but they're all better than getting killed in a no-death run by a greatsword power attack that you clearly back-stepped a full yard out of range from.

NOTE one of these problems is that shield bashes grotesquely out-reach one-handed melee weapons of all kinds, despite the description saying it edited those things. Kind of shows not a lot of testing was really done with this mod, but when you run another mod like Ultimate Combat which shortens shield bash range, it's fine. I would never recommend installing this mod alone. By itself, precision spacing with one-handed weapons doesn't matter, and when you run the game with improved AI that likes to counter your attacks with bashes, you have to begin every melee exchange with a bash just to get in.

This mod has a shield bash range of 94, Ultimate Combat has a shield bash range of 120.

Speed and Reach Fixes doesn't affect shield bash, either. Apparently, no author has yet figured out how shield bash range can be adjusted.

Downloaded the game and started a playthrough lately and got frustrated by how unrealistically far enemy weapons can reach. It's unreal. Forgot that was a thing. Had to install this mod again. Must-have.

Hello and thanks a lot for the mod <3
Can you please make a version with a -10% modifier or -15 ?
Vanilla is too extreme, but with this mod my short sword barely hits :( in my setup some ennemies can one shot you with a power attack haha
Hope you're doing great in your life and all!

It does apply to all the mod weapons I installed like Heavy Armory, Expanded Skyrim Weapon Armory, and Skyforge Weapons.
But then again, this mod makes the ranges of all weapons the same, though it's still better than how it was in vanilla IMO.

I was testing out the ranges of various weapons, and realized that now all weapon types had the same range (e.x. dagger and greatsword).

It's still better than vanilla invisible blades, but...

Sorry to necro this but it does work well with VR. There is this really immersion breaking effect in vanilla Skyrim VR of having NPCs standing several feet away from you swinging at thin air and hitting you as well as huge and very noticeable phantom range that extended far beyond the physical model of every weapon. This mod solved that problem nicely!

Thanks. I have noticed that issue at times.
