Okay, I have heard you and I will provide less transparency and a more authentic color combination.
Updated as of 3/19/20 - Added three new Color combos to Main Files. Original version moved to Old Files. Reduced transparency, Added Netting and Sequins on Harem Pants. Added diamond stitching and Sequins to tops. Improved Normal Maps and Speculars for all versions.
Just remember, free mods are a service, not a product.
I make these for myself, because I enjoy it and sometimes I share what I have made.
*This is a texture replacer, there are no meshes included. The texture files have an Alpha channel, so if you use an apparel replacer with an Alpha enabled mesh, the 'Harem Pants' will be translucent. Not transparent, translucent.
If you don't use an apparel replacer that has Alpha enabled meshes, then you wont see through her pants.
@Fireapple I don't know if it's exactly what the original poster was after, but I have made a standalone version for myself simply by using a plugin with assigned alternate textures in new armor records (the same way Nazir's red-colored Hammerfell outfit works in vanilla). It contains no new or reused meshes, only your textures in a new folder called "Fireapple". Since it uses the vanilla Hammerfell Garb meshes, it should continue to work as you intended if people have modified vanilla nifs like BD's, or any other CBBE, UNP, HIMBO, SAM, etc. refits or skimps installed.

I'd be happy to send it to you/post a link if you are interested in sharing it here or doing anything else you wish with it.
Anyone wanting this to only change the female BD versions - a quick bit of work with Windows Explorer and Nifskope will do it. 1) Change the directory name for these meshes using Explorer (just realised you can do it in Nifskope) I simply added FA to the "Redguard" making it RedguardFA. 2) Using Nifskope open BDStandalone\Clothes\Redguard\RedguardOutfitf_1.f - open each of the BSTriShape entries and then its BSLightingShaderProperty, click on BSShaderTextureSet 3) Change the textures\clothes\redguard\RedguardClothes.dds to textures\clothes\redguardFA\RedguardClothes.dds - do the same for RedguardClothes_n.dds entries as well 4) Repeat for the Sandals - there is only one of the BSTriShapes that use textures from this. The hood doesn't use any (and won't match either I would suspect) Don't change any file paths for anything other than the textures in this mod!!!!! Save and exit. Now only the nif for the female version of the outfitr will use these textures
I either missed something while reading or i did something else wrong but the ingame Redguard outfit is still red, i downloaded the aqua top/white pants version.
Unless it doesnt play nice with BD armor/clothing bhunp version, but i doubt that is the case.
If they changed the texture path on the .nifs then that would break it. But I cannot see anyone doing that, as then they wouldn't have a vanilla fallback either. Would essentially break everything except their texture.
So just make sure these overwrite, and aren't being overwritten.
Your clothing mesh is trying to pull a texture that is not part of the vanilla redguard texture files, which means that texture is not part of this mod. You'll have to check your mesh in Outfit Studio to find which texture you are missing.

Simple as that.
As of right now I am using a different replacer mod so the armor does not show up... or I should say I get the top of the white boots. lol
I am using TMB replacer.
I understand I'm sure it's not without some work to do so, but damn. I wanted this so bad. lol
Still A nice mod to wise I could use. Good luck and still thanks for putting in the work to make and share it.

Feel free to PM me and link it, I'll take a look at it and possibly add it to optional files.
It would be great to have the hoods matching the clothes color too, will you consider adding them?

why do the male redguards in my game also suddenly have these armor textures?

Edit: I just realized that the mesh I was using wanted redguardclothesdb.dds rather than redguardclothes.dds. Apparently, there are 2 versions!

the only thing I notice is that the golden parts beneth the top look purple for some reason
Im using the blue version
Good textures make wonders.
// Now the hardest part. Which one to choose… aqua or white, white or aqua…
