    The voice acting caught me off guard, but otherwise this mod is sick.
    Allows for players to continue the cult side of the quest, but with a trickster twist where you can exchange the ring for a new spell or keep it anyway!

    Hi Guys, for the XB players who ran into the issue of not being able to finish the quest due to the brother V not acknowledging the final comment about tricking Namira, you can solve it with the mod Debug Menu by Skyler, go under Other, Complete Quest, enter the filename - this needs to be exactly character by character "AK- Namira for Good Guys.esp" as in AK(no space)-(space)Namira for Good Guys.esp and the number for the quest is 10012D3, it completes the altered quest, unfortunately without the reward of unique spell, but to be honest I didn't find anything in CK corresponding to such reward, so maybe that's the issue? I checked all Editor IDs under the items "AKDA11"
    I don't use RDO or anything exciting that could affect it.

    How bout adding an Extermination option where you can kill the cult of cannibals? Take the Fake Priest, have it sit down on the table, get Eola to carve and stand back. Then watch as the Fake Priest violently explodes, killing Eola instantly. The gathered cultists aggro on you, you strike them all down, and then report back to the Real Priest, who rewards you with some gold, and an Agent of Arkay permanent active effect.

      That would be so neat, thought of something the same, that would be a cool extra option. You can apparently destroy the cult in vanilla too after taking him there and then not sacrificing him, but warning him beforehand and then wiping them out would be even better.
      He is then warned beforehand, and you removed some seriously dangerous cult.

      Can confirm, this is almost compatible with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/123173

      The incompatibility is that for that one you have to kill Eola at first encounter and for this one you leave her alive.

      But there is a way to have both.

      If you are okay with using SSEEdit to copy a book from one .esp file to another, and add the book to an npc's item list, then you can complete the quests from both mods (confronting/disposing of the cult members) but still have Eola as a follower afterward.  Details in my post on that mod's page.

      Because you can already kinda do that in vanilla? If you bring the (actual) priest into the chamber, you can simply decide to kill them all.

    Cool mod, no problems, bugs or Namira whispering over my shoulder about me being a conniving ba*d.

    Check this out: I installed it after already clearing out the draugr from Reachcliff cave during the first stages of "the taste for death" but before returning to Markarth and the Halls of the Dead to speak with Verulus.  After talking to him I was able to warn him of the ruse, and he assigned the fetch quest to find venison, and so on.  Everything worked out good, except for the cannibals in the cave.  They got what was coming.

    i need help, i want to replay this quest, is this possible, the reason being i did not find out about this mod until later but i did the quest too long ago, is there any way ?, i know this much that i can resurrect and recycle actors so they would be alive and quest aware again but i dont know about the main quest itself

    Hi, sorry to bother everyone, but I'm having some issues with this mod. I'm playing on Xbox, as part of this bundle, https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4231607 if that helps, so all the issues with what's going on could lie with the port or the bundling. 
    But I still am having issues finishing the new quest. I managed to create the Fake Brother Verulus from the Scarecrow, took it to the cult, and got the ring, but now the real Brother Verulus won't exchange the ring for the spell and the new quest won't finish. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just glitching on me? I can't just use console commands to fix this. 
    Edit: could this mod be the issue? https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4224545 It contains mods that modify the priest's dialouge, letting me buy amulets or receive a blessing of Arkay from him. Perhaps the new one is overriding the dialogue options, but the option to warn him worked because it was part of an existing dialogue and not a new option.

    I like the concept of this mod, and everything worked more or less as intended (though I had to turn collision off to interact with the scarecrow thanks to the frescoes mod), but I have to say the spell you get as a reward for turning the ring over to Brother Verulus - raising a creature to serve you permanently in undeath - doesn't feel like the kind of thing a good guy would use, and certainly not something Arkay would be very pleased with you doing.

    Honestly I wish there was some way to follow along with Eola's plan long enough to confirm she and the other guests are cannibals and expose them (or maybe even convince them to give it up after killing Eola). Playing a prank on the cult but presumably allowing them to carry on doing cannibalism doesn't feel great, but neither does killing everyone extrajudicially (common though that is in Skyrim, lol), especially since their living relatives all act as though you're a cold-blooded murderer and you have no option to tell them they were secretly cannibals in service of a daedric prince.

    All of that is, of course, outside the scope of this mod, and would probably require a lot of extra work. Just musing.

    Edit: Killing the fake Brother Verulus counts as a murder in the crime stats. Not sure if that's a game limitation or a bug, but figured I'd mention it.

    I wanted to keep the ring, but inform the priest that the deed is done. Even after selecting the conversation option, the quest didn't finish, and I had to use the console to set the stage to "setstage akda11deceptionquest 31" manually to make the scripts stop spamming. Stage 40 would be the End where you deliver the ring.
