***If you had the former (non-esl) version in your game then be sure not to install this on an existing save! Light plugins can't replace regular plugins from your load order mid-save & attempting to do so will break things.***
***Also bear in mind that all the light (esl/espfe) plugin slots in your load order take up one slot in total - not zero slots at all. (So if you don't realize this then you could still go over the Skyrim mod limit if you reach the cap on regular esps.)***
the little things matter! BTW "Light plugins can't replace regular plugins from your load order mid-save & attempting to do so will break things" what type of things will be broken?
"Also bear in mind that all the light (esl/espfe) plugin slots in your load order take up one slot in total - not zero slots at all. (So if you don't realize this then you could still go over the Skyrim mod limit if you reach the cap on regular esps."
How so? Let's say you have 250 esp (&esm) and add 10 esl's, you're over the limit??
With the AE update, ESL/ESPFE, etc files now have 2048 slots. So you have the standard 255 that remains as the 'hard cap' for a non-light flagged ESP.
This was the reason a lot of us previously (and currently) have 1000+ mods, lot of which are light plugins as they seem to have made it so light flagged files can have much higher 'soft cap' as it were.
Hopefully any of this was helpful to you. But essentially, you still remain with 255 'weighted' ESPs. Light files such as these that are flagged as ESL, whether they have the proper ESL extension or not, fall into this 2048 capacity.
The author last posted in 2022. Considering the vast differences between SE and AE versions, something tells me he would have stated it if the mod was version specific.
I have a legitimate, hopefully non-idiotic question about proper use and compatibility:
I'm building a new LO with three dragon mods which are all recommended to be used together: - BellyAche's HD Dragon Replacer Pack SE (vanilla-replacer with new models and textures) - Splendor - Dragon Variants SE (adds new dragons/models, based on mixing and matching vanilla or vanilla-replacer dragon assets) - Diverse Dragons Collection SE (probably irrelevant at this point but I'm mentioning it for completion's sake)
Question 1. In my case, would the death animation ragdoll twitch bug still even be an issue? Or does it only affect 100% vanilla dragon models? Question 2. whether still affected by the bug or not, if I used the MERGED version of this mod does anyone anticipate that deleted death animation being an issue with those other mods? Or is that simply not possible?
Thank you to whoever understands this better than I or is willing to pore over xEdit to find out, I'm not quite confident in my ability to do that just yet
Once you notice it, and how silly the animation is mid fight, you really can't play without this mod anymore. Started a new playthrough without it in my load order and here I am, adding it. Thanks for the ELS version, much appreciated!

I still remember the 14-year-old me laughing so hard at that.
