I can't offer any advice as I don't use, have never used and never plan to use Mod Organiser 2. It works fine with Vortex though. Perhaps another user can help solve your problem. If you do find the solution you require then perhaps you would be kind enough to share it.

Are you using a bashed patch? I've found that the bashed patch will try to overwrite the changes made by this patch. This mod's plugins need to have the Stats bash tag added so that wrye smash can merge the changes in.
If not using a bashed patch, make sure that this mod is loaded after other mods that may be modifying item weights, such as Weapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Fixes.

Omg thank you I was wondering why all of a sudden why my septims had weight again but I had to sort (previously I installed it late and was lazy and just dumped it at the end of my LO) and rebuild the patch after being forced to change things. Here I was going crazy looking for whatever broke it
Thanks so much! <3 I just hope it still works with the latest versions of Immersive Jewely. It is not possible that with 7000 septim or so, it is overloaded. Okay, maybe in the real world it would be possible that someone can't bring 7000 coins all together ... but we are in a game where PCs can kill dragons, and are unable to carry 2 simple coins? xD lOl
