I've been testing this for quite a long time now. A little tip is to only point the controllers at the UI when you want to point and select. Otherwise, if you're using the thumbsticks, just point the controllers down and do that. Once you get used to it, this mod is extremely helpful to have.
Anyone else getting the issue where any bit of movement causes your cursor to jolt to the bottom of the inventory page? This happens regardless weather im pointing the controller at the page or not.
I'm sure you've already figured it out but for anyone else reading this, don't point the controller down, hover it over to the right (where the item model is) and it will stop jumping down to the last item.
I installed this on a fresh install w the requirements and didn't get the cursor in game and then tried it within the Diabolist vr 6.0 modpack off of wabbajack and still can't see it is there something im missing?
Make sure the mod is installed and active in your mod list. Also check your sksevr.log to make sure it's loading correctly. Post your sksevr.log with controlc.com or pastebin.com so I can check as well.
Is it possible to get this to work in the vanilla tween menu? I got the Custom Skills Menu to work (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62423), but I cannot select it in the tween menu without the mouse.
I tried adding it, cursor showed up, but it activated tween menu (in the background) instead of perks menu unfortunately, so it won't be possible currently.
Hey Shizof :) Is there any way to enable the mouse on the main menu for compatibility with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103278 ?
Is there anyway to adjust the "pitch" of the mouse in relation to the controller? It feels like its offset and pointed upwards with relation to the controller instead of align with the controller like a gun.
This mod just makes the cursor visible and sends mouse click when you press trigger. Positioning of the mouse is vanilla behaviour and not implemented by this mod.
Bug report: if you mistake press tap and trigger and havor on game system setting , it wil stuck being click effect. just lick every frame auto click the button even closed all UI and click sound effect always be the noise
"if you mistake press tap and trigger and havor on game system setting" I don't understand what this means. Can you explain your issue more clearly and in detail?
Could you please please PLEASE add an optional traditional cursor? Like maybe a hollow small circle or a medium sized dot. Thanks so much in advance if you decide to do it and I don't see your reply. 😊
This mod just shows the cursor. The cursor you are seeing is not something I added. It comes with SkyUI-VR. For changing the cursor you need a different SkyUI-VR theme or a patch for it to change the cursor.
Hi Shizof. Not sure if this is something that can be fixed, but there seems to be a rapid fire issue after the controllers go idle and turn back on.
I'm using the Valve Index, it's pretty easy to replicate. Just turn the controller off/on while the game is running. Then try to activate a quest objective, you'll notice it's clicking multiple times.
In any case thanks for the mod, it's quite useful after you get around its quirks.
I'm still having this problem in 2023. It will rapid scroll left or right after a menu selection. I will hear the scroll/swipe "sound" on repeat and the once selected menu item will be permanently stuck to the far left or far right option. Only way to fix this is to restart the game and steam VR completely. Disabled the mod and no longer a problem. I love this mod a lot because its such a convenient fix for how trash the vanilla VR menu works! Thanks for any response or possible solutions.
The issue in this thread you replied to was fixed since version 1.2.0. Can you explain the problem you are having in detail? What menu? Are you using dear diary or not? How to replicate your issue exactly?
