Ha, take that, this mod isn't dead! I finally figured out how to make this mod compatible with every werewolf mod that I tested. Overall the mod is the same but internally it's very different and efficient.
Version 2.0, which I've labeled "Reborn" due to it being a full rewrite of most scripts, is not compatible with older versions of the mod. You should be fine to simply uninstall the old versions and install the new version.
2.1 is out, which hopefully fixes a bug where you grow in size in human form. I haven't had a lot of time to test it, however. As part of the bug fix, it forces your human scale as 1. If you want to make your human scale different than default, I recommend using RaceMenu which has settings for this, but separates them from your actual scale.
Hello, i was wondering if someone could explain me a little about what is setscale? i want to try other mods that changes the skeleton and hitbox of the werewolf form and i don't know if it will conflict with this mod.
Sorry for any spelling mistakes, english isn't my mother language, i also want to say that i love this mod! Everytime i play as a werewolf i use this mod, thank you!
"setscale" is simply a Papyrus function and Skyrim command that adjusts the size of an object in the game. It's not done via skeleton edits in this mod, so it should be compatible with any other mod.
Can there be a version that keeps the human size changes as well? I really liked that as my werewolf form got larger and more powerful so did my human form.
Nvm: i just LOOT again and it works now, idk why it bugged out before tho maybe it stops working overtime I will give a heads-up if this problems occurs again by itself
Nice; I was pretty disappointed that the "Slightly Larger Werebeasts" mod was taken down, but this one will allow me to get a similar result with the added benedit of making my own werewolf an "Alpha", being larger than the others~
Out of curiosity, how exactly can one alter the default size of werewolves ingame ? Outside of this mod, I mean.
I think the way I did it was just creating a new ability on the werewolf race that sets their scale to be slightly larger when they load in. You can also try scaling up the skeleton nif.
Now another favorite mod from Oldrim works in modern version! Thank you, and endorsed! Works fine with growl, no bugs so far.
I have a suggestion: can you please make an option to automatically revert size back, like it was in original mod? Even two options: every time you shift, you start from normal size (like original mod. I guess it is simply option to reset experience when you shift, or when you revert). and/or: your size (exp) slowly fades over time (with optional speed?) if you don't shift regularly. Because it is not very interesting when you reached max size and stays in it. Like you simply used 'setscale' command. And to reset it every time manually - meh... ;)
I wasn't even aware an Oldrim version of this existed lol. But glad you liked it!
Are you saying you're not reverting to normal size after becoming human? Or you just want the werewolf form to start at default scale each time you transform? Second one probably won't be added to this mod, as I'm considering my own full werewolf overhaul mod, and if I do, I'll implement this mod into it with additional features.
Reverting to normal size as human works fine, even when i'm using custom scale for human, no bugs here. I want werewolf starts from normal every time you transform. Single option to not save experience, reset it, or start from min each time. It sounds pretty simple, I even tried to do it myself, but screwed things up - appears I know nothing about scripting (
I am having an issue where the size of the character model is also affected, not just the werewolf form. Also, even if I reset the exp only the werewolf form was affected, so I was left with small werewolf form and a massive regular form. I was not using Moonlight tales.
Like the person below me, I also have the problem where my character does not revert to my size when I transform back. I tried to mess a little bit with the load order but no success. I also have Moonlight Tales.
Do you think you could check out were the bug is coming from ? :)
