I know right. I wish he'd shut up about "weathered this and weathered that". It's so annoying. Go make your own. Thank goodness it appears that he's banned.
dwemer chests use a few dwemer clutter and architechure textures if i remember, soul cairn not sure, there are some good retextures for all that if you have a look
the new shadow under the nails seems a little too big imo, it makes it look like the head of the nail is hovering 2 inches above the surface of the chest, when it's actually nearly level with the chest. shading it is good but i think it'd look better if the shadow radius was a little smaller
That's it now for this chest me thinks, i had to manually place each shadow on a diffuse i could hardly make head or tail of, one by one checking in Nifskope, the original didn't show every single shadow placement and most weren't in the right place anyway, most of the shadows on the original were barely visible so using the diffuse as a guide wasn't straight forward to say the least.
i duplicated the same round shadow and resized it here and there , was a repetetive god damn nightmare to be honest lol, was glad when done...should have altered transparency on them though thinking about it
will do, will do versions of the large and small with some wear and tear on them aswell as RenaPG said it is a bit daft having them looking like they've just been made.
Oh i really like the Look of the chest. It could be a little weathered though . Now the only thing disturbing are the nails! They look even worse on the retextured chest. Eyesore. ? is there a way to make them better quality too?

The textures need to be very weathered, old, scratched, etc.
