Amazing mod so far. but I didn't get a message about being hungry or thirsty I think. do I have to download the optional file to enable hunger value?

Hi, firstly I wanna congratulate you for this awesome mod, and I have a question for anyone able to answer me. Is there any parameter I can change in Sseedit to increase the speed your health decreases when freezin? Because I feel this too long the time you need to get frozen. It's all thanks!

It's a bit late but for visibility: browsing, I just saw "The Frozen North - Percentage Damage", which should speed up the process when you have more than 100 max health.

How lightweight is this on the script side compared to frostfall? I want to stay 10' away from script lag at all times.

The playercoldscript checks for heat sources every 3 seconds. However i do not know how fast this script is.

a 3 second loop is practically an eternity as far as papyrus is concerned. There's scripts that check once every frame, i.e. 180 times in three seconds, those are the kind that can cause problems.

Everyone's Stamina Matters -- Stamina Overhaul (SKSE) affects Player and NPC Stamina alike. Does this mod affect NPC's? I would imagine NPCs and creatures like undead, vampires, ice creatures and draugr, among a few, would not be affected by Stamina Regen.

It's important to know who and what this mod affects so I don't get just player penalties. Thank you.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what's going on with the heat sources. I had this mod working previously. About a week ago, I had some problems and reinstalled my Skyrim. I deleted the files in my data folder, but left everything in vortex. Vortex recognized my mods and I didn't need to do anything to get the mods to be recognized. Now, for some reason the heat sources aren't working. These heat sources previously worked. I have AE and removed whatever the AE survival mod is. I have the frozen north tweaks and also the survival panel installed as well. Any ideas about what might be going on here? I removed the frozen north and frozen north tweaks and re-installed. I moved them around in the load order but the heat sources still don't work.

I am experiencing a strange conflict with certain mods that distribute custom perks to NPCs.   It causes the Frozen North quest script to instantly go into stack dumps, endlessly referencing a randomly placed/spawned NPC with a custom magic effect assigned via the triggering perk.  1000's lines of papyrus stack dump in a few seconds in the presence of NPCs with a triggering perk that gets increasingly worse the longer you are around those NPCs.

My friend discovered this on both his save and his brothers save and forwarded me the saves and the logs.  On his most recent save he had a 2GB papyrus log in 90 minutes, with 99.99% of it being the same stack dump.

I was able to recreate the exact same thing with 100% consistency from multiple tests on a brand new character with a bare bones modlist.   This was happening between Frozen North and Adamant Perks for NPCs (The SPID mod) initially  ... but I was also able to replicate the same stack dump from manually assigning Adamant Perks to the actor records, even without the SPID.  Oddly enough the referenced magic effect was always one of many custom form ID effects, never vanilla replacer effects, at least not in the case of Adamant... but it was numerous magic effects/perks being referenced, I counted around 20 different magic effect form IDs being referenced when scanning the logs.

In the absence of the NPCs the stack dumps clean up and fall to 0.

EDIT: It seems to occur with Survival Mode or Survival Mode Improved in general.... Don't encounter the issue with SunHelm
