Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I have the "The Sinister Seven" mod installed (Dragonborn is wanted by Bosses and their subordinates). After locking themselves into the Lakeview Manor house and waiting a few days, the enemies managed to enter the house.
Hmm, it may be that they have the ability to unlock doors.. Or they teleport to player, kind of like the vampires in Dawn Gaurd DLC.. If thats the case theres not much you can do if they just bypass all doors.
If I walked in through the door then they could teleport with me... but I'm inside and wait a few days and then they appear from the front door... Lydia also goes out and enters through them.
============== Edit... I played a little and it seems that so far the bandits are not entering the house (I waited a few days). Lydia also can't go out through the main door (she was standing by the door), the basement door is closed, the door to the roof is closed, but ... the side door (over the armory) on the first floor is open all the time and then Lydia goes out and enters - can it be possible close them too?
Does locking the doors prevent home invasions in-game? Or keep random strangers from walking in (which happens in Breezehome sometimes)? If so, great idea.
So this mod might work with such mods that adds random encounters?, like some mods that add random encounters that even happens inside cells, such as Sand of time?
