Don't know if you still read these comments but just wanted to say a massive thank you for save #3, I've just had to start a new game after removing several script heavy mods from my 1200+ mod list and I love Serana as a follower but hate the DG questline. Your save is such a massive help for me, just loaded up, waited 10 minutes for my mods to sort themselves out and then teleported to Serana. Thank you.
How about a save for all Skyrim quests only and no DLC's. I'm looking for something like this for mod testing purposes. I understand doing this would take time.
One thing though that prevents me from downloading any of the saves: no USSEP.
This single mod is, widely regarded by.. literally everyone thats ever played Skyrim, as a no-brainer must-have IF you want to play without any of the vanilla bugs (of which there are too many to count and many of those gamebreaking). For USSEP to work flawlessly, it must have been active while creating your new game.
So, While I appreciate you offering a "mod-free" save, that is not what most of us (returning players and ppl trying out mods - your targeted audience) wanted or need. USSEP HAS to be included from the start. Your downloads would skyrocket if you'd ever come around to do this. No one plays nowadays without USSEP on PC.
Thank you for the info, never knew this. What exactly fails to work properly if USSEP is not installed from the start? also would things like SSE engine fixes need to also be installed?. Thanks.
If you install USSEP and start this save with it then it will be there with no issues. Since the save when loaded will say do you want to continue with loading this save using mods. The game should see this save as a new game.
on Save #3 - Dawnguard only, Dawnguard side - Where is Serana? checked castle and the fort and didnt see her (could of missed her for sure, large space)
Looking at it, it seems that while the save is cleanest clean (which is a huge win) if im not mistaken if you are just booting up this save the first time, serena is still entombed.
my reason for this is guessing ^ - I cant teleport to her (unless i just messed up typing the command-but i teleport ot other npcs just fine).
Im not detecting any problems with Save #3 and Legacy of Dragonborn (only mention cause i see alot of other folk mentioning it).
Thank you. I had to uninstall my game due to glitch in in the quest "At the Summit of Apo..." and i uninstall all my mods which sort of cracked my game. Hope you can upload saves related to main quest+any dlc.
Well there are 23,000+ sse mods so there is a chance that not all of them work flawlessly when added to an existing save... I didn't make the saves specifically for LoTD or any other mod, if its not what you are looking for then simply don't use it. personally I am a combined 70+ hours into 2 of the saves with 120+ mods with 0 issues.
Thx for the cool Save Files! Could you make a save file or do you have a save file where you only completed the thieves guild? Without making progress in the main story! Or one where you have already completed dragonborn and Thieves Guild? I want to play Dawnguard myself because I either want to choose the Volkihar Vampires or Dawnguard
This is awesome! I mod so much that I have frequently had to restart due to a new build. This takes out some of the pain points!! Your time spent on this is much appreciated. :)
it's too bad alternate start mods can't do something like saves that start in further areas of the game instead of just starting with no progress in the story. vanilla start is so stale.
