Would you mind terribly describing how you did this? I tried unpacking the textures(from the old mod) and then just making the mod with loose files and an esp but my Skyrim wasn't happy at all with this. Did you repack into a BSA?
Try taking the meshes/textures file from the Oldrim ESP and manually installing them to Skyrim Special Edition just the way they are. I'm not 100% positive that will work, but if an update doesn't come soon, it's exactly the method I'll be trying.
I downloaded the BSA from Oldrim, extracted the files using Bethesda Archive Extractor (you can find it here), then copied the meshes and textures to the SSE Toymania folder. I think only the rabbits are purple now.
But I'm finding a different problem: I can't give the gifts to my kids. I can make then, but they don't come up in the menu. I'm using this w/Toy Story and More Realistic Gifts for Children - which lets you give ANYTHING to your kid - so I have a feeling there's a conflict b/t the mods.
Good tip! I just did the same. I would recommend running them through Cathedral Assets optimizer though. I always do it in cases like this as a precaution but I am pretty sure it needed to update a few things. Without updating you can get crashes and instability. That said, it seems to work well now and I can give gifts to the kids no problem. The lutes get strapped to their backs and they carry around the dolls and toy dragons (I didn't try rabbits). I would say more than likely you are having a mod conflict. I don't have either of the ones you mention.
Did you find a way to gift these toys to your children? I have Sofie in the Dragonborn SafeHouse and I can't give her any mod-related toy except for Toy Story's.
I don't have many mods currently in my game. Unfortunately this mod doesn't work at all. I can locate the book, but there is nothing new to create. The only kid mod I have besides this one is the Hearthfire multiple adoptions mod.
Love this mod, works for all DLC and lots of mods:) Anshela has done an amazing job in making toys look like toys for children. Thank you and kudos and also to soupdragon1234 for the uploaded as it takes an artist with a fine eye for detail to find such lovely Mod like this one, Thank you:) Toymania is top of my kid's list for mods for Skyrim SE always:)
Hmmm I use Hearthfire Dolls are ugly mod mainly for the doll display. Are they compatible ? These are crafted where as the others are purchased or looted. They replace the vanilla dolls. I may need to try load order and see. I really like this idea.

Maybe, you can make version, that implement this into game immersive? Level list, merchants e.t.c.
