    Any questions regarding the parallax effect on the mountains please read the description. Thanks

    Updated the update file to have double sided flags now so it should work properly with EVLAS

    FOMOD reuploaded to fix an issue where some textures/meshes weren't being included. should work as intended now

    1/24/23 update - In the optional file section I have supplied 2 fomods. One for parallax installation one for only textures for people that don't want parallax



    If your mountains in the snow look funky you need to use either Better Dynamic Snow version 2 OR Simplicity of Snow. That effect is from the vanilla snow shaders and they don't play well with parallax.

    . As I get closer to the mountains, the textures start moving/sliding over and then go back to place. Wut. I also have an occasional warp.
    I just installed one mountain and have had vivid landscapes, but I have been having this issue since before. I don't understand what's causing it.

      I had the same issue in my game, try installing "ERM - Enhanced Rocks and Mountains" and let it overwrite this one. It solved the problem for me, while still keping these very nice textures.

    I calculated my LOD using DyndoLOD and this mod, but sadly did not get a seamless mountain LOD, is there a way to fix it?

    hey, so this mod is part of a pack I tried downloading, and I am unsure what exactly is covers it. Does this mod change or effect the basalt pillars of Raven rock? For some reason those are displaying as white in my game. Someone else had a similar issue before https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/201682?BH=0 
    I have downloaded Simplicity in Snow, but it would be helpful to know if this mod is what is effecting these textures to begin with.

    Hey so in reference to the 'moving' textures, is this what you mean? this is a video of a different texture but it happens with this one too, and I've been doing everything I can to 'fix' it but now I'm thinking this is intentional. You can notice it more towards the end of the video where the ground seems to warp like it's under glass.

    Hey, I love the textures, but the warping on this one is a bit too extreme for me.  I've been using Simplicity of Snow since the start of this modlist, and I noticed the snow does really weird things with this texture pack.  I was using the 8k para version and giving it priority over every other mod, but the snow appeared to be inches away from the actual mountain mesh + texture unless you stood right next to it.  When moving your camera the texture appears to slide on the mesh, which I have not noticed in other parallax textures so far.  I'm used to and expect the sort of popping in effect of parallax, but there's more to this one.  Sadly I have really bad motion sickness issues and this really gets to me. I have to go back to the Parallax mountain texture I was using previously, even though I think this one looks much better.

      Do you mind sharing what mountain texture pack you were using before with less warping?

    This mod looks great!  But some reason if I use any of the parallax options, the textures on the mountains constantly twitch and flicker, like they are rapidly switching between two different textures.

    I'm not using Majestic Mountains, and I've tried uninstalling any other mods I have that might affect mountain appearance.  Parallax seems to work fine for me on all your other amazing texture mods, so I'm not sure what the difference is.  I am using Vortex, if that's relevant.

    Here's everything I have that addresses textures/meshes/lighting/visuals and isn't one of your texture mods:
    Realistic Lighting Overhaul
    HD Lods Textures SE
    Obsidian Weathers
    Rudy ENB Obsidian Weathers Addons
    Better Dynamic Snow SE v2
    A. Noble Skyrim
    SSE Display Tweaks (mainly for uncapped frame rate)
    SMIM

    The parallax mountains always show up as a blank mesh thats grey. All my other parallax mods are working fine. Im not using Majestic Mountains either

      I don't know what I'm missing either but I've tried both the 4k 2.0 and 1.0 versions, both parallax options cause distant mountains to look like pic rel and I have also noticed that the 2.0 version makes some rocks or boulders and those plateau things disappear from being seen but the collision is still there, which is not an issue with the 1.0 version but both have strange parallax issues so I'm obviously missing something with the parallax option but the missing visuals I don't really understand.

      You need simplicity of snow. Parallax doesn't play with vanilla snow shaders. Idk about disappearing mountains lol I cannot recreate this

      I could take some pictures of the invisible stuff but I honestly just think it's because something got messed up somewhere like a bad download so I'll try to re-download stuff first.

      I suppose that nordic snow and better dynamic snow doesn't work with this mod then and that I have to have simplicity of snow instead?

      Ditto for me on a 16k version (but of the darker nordic version)...I was using the darker nordic 8k but still had some blurry textures on some mountains up close, had to go back to the 16k even though it does tile pretty obviously it's so sharp!

    If we use Majestic Mountains can we still use the Parallax version and just let it overwrite MM? Also what snow mod dyou recommend to use with this mod? If I have to choose between your Para Mountains and MM, I will go with yours. I have used MM for a long time now, its time for a change.

      You can try but MM has its own meshes and I have no idea what the out come would be. Probs not compatible but you can always try

      I am going to try ENB and see what that does for my game. Is there a specific setting that I need to turn on to enable Parallax?

      I tried ENB but its a serious performance hog. Going to have to abandon it.

      You can use parallax without enb. Just use sse parallax shader fix.
