If upgrading from 1.0: uninstall the old version; make a new save; install the new version.
If upgrading from 1.1: just uninstall the old version and install the new version.

An additional mod version, allowing to steal (and read) books (if "Sometimes Pick Up Books" is not installed).
You have to choose only one: or STANDARD version, or this NOBOOKS version.
For switching versions, a clean save is required.
