Surprised this hasn't been asked: is the enabled sign compatible with JKs Ragged Flagon? That is, has anyone tried it to see what kind of clipping we might get?
Just tested it myself. There's some clipping, and visually more disturbing, the chains that hold the wooden frame above the bar use a different and (on my setup) much brighter texture. I'll see if I can throw together a simple patch.
Hi Rally. In case it's relevant, here's a tweaked version of the esp that adjusts the sign position to fit the bar in JK's Ragged Flagon. I should mention that I'm using Yuril's Fyxed version of the sign model, but I don't think that should make any difference. Oh and thanks for another lovely mod :)
thank you very much, i am about to prepare an update for this mod, which will drop the next few days, so this will come in handy. i did the same for the vanilla bar, but having an optional patch for JK will surely be useful for many users :)
Love the texture of this one. Great work as always from rally. I have a question, would it be possible to SMIM-ify the sign chains on the mesh to make them look 3D? Thank you!
the sign gets enabled. it's included in the base game files, but bethesda forgot to use the mesh resp. make it visible. this mod corrects that and includes new textures for the sign.
I like the painted version. Didn't even know this sign existed before this mod, so thanks! I carried over your esp content to another file of mine, then deleted the esp file to save some space, and it turned out just fine. Put up a screenshot as well. Cheers =)
Hey, really nice idea to optionally enable the sign. When I saw the mod I was "oh dang, these are so really nice textures from Rally again... but I don't remember this sign?" And then I read the description. Since I don't use those mods, this is great.
I'll edit this to let you know if it works/looks all good in game.
But I was actually able to narrow down what was causing this fairly quickly, and that was a mod conflict on my end. "Enhanced textures detail (UV-tweaks)" (nexus ID: 992) well... tweaks the UV's lol, so it came out looking like above. I just hid that mesh from that mod in MO2 and now it looks as it should. :)
If anyone else uses that mod, they should either hide or delete that mesh (which can be found under Dungeons \ Riften \ ThievesGuild -> RiftenRWRaggedSign01.nif)
Alternatively, you could include the vanilla mesh with your mod to overwrite this kind of thing.
