If you want to add Oblivion's intro/title music in place of Skyrim's, you can do that by 1) copying this file from oblivion: /Data/music/special/tes4title.mp3 and converting it to xwm 2) putting it in the skyrim folder /Data/music/TES4-aminomancer 3) opening your Skyrim.ini in Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition 4) adding this line under [General]: sMainMenuMusic=\Data\Music\TES4-aminomancer\tes4title.xwm
Here are instructions to create one packaged mod for Oblivion Music in Skyrim:
1) Create the folder " Music " on your desktop. Inside that folder, create the folder " tes4-aminomancer ".
2) Download and Install a legal copy of Oblivion. Navigate to its Music folder and copy the " Public " and " Explore " folders into the Music\tes4-aminomancer folder you created on your desktop.
Note: If you own the Steam copy of Oblivion, you can quickly navigate to its game folders by right clicking on the game in your library, selecting PROPERTIES, then LOCAL FILES, then clicking BROWSE.
3) Download Skyrim Audio Converter (link is provided in the mod's description). Download the main file on its page. Extract its folder onto your desktop.
4) Go into the Skyrim Audio Converter Folder and open the " SkyrimAudioConverter.ini " file with notepad. Change number variables for Bitrate to 6 and xwmBitrate to 5, then save.
5) Open Skyrim Audio Converter. Click and drag the contents of your " Public " and " Explore " music folders into the Skyrim Audio Converter window. Make sure " audio -> Skyrim music (xwm) " is selected. Make sure the " xwm/fuz file bitrate " on the right is set to 192k. Click " Convert Selected ". Close when finished.
6) Go into your " Public " and " Explore " folders. The .xwm files were generated there. Make sure the new .xwm files are the same size if not larger than the .mp3 files. Sort the files in each folder by type. Remove or delete the .mp3 files.
7) Manually download " Oblivion Music in Skyrim ". Place on your desktop and extract. Navigate through the folders and drag " OblivionMusic.esp " onto your desktop.
8) Create a zipped archive including both the " Music " folder you created on your desktop and " OblivionMusic.esp " using winrar or 7zip. Rename the zipped file "Oblivion Music in Skyrim" or however you would like to title the mod.
9) In Mod Organizer 2 drag the zipped file you created to your " download " section, then install the mod. In Vortex click " install from file " in your mods section. Enable the mod and sort with LOOT.
Final Notes: Make sure the pathing to your music files within your zipped archive are correct. It should be Music\tes4-aminomancer\Explore and Music\tes4-aminomancer\Public. Incorrect pathing will result in the mod not working.
I hope this helps out and have fun. Many thanks to the mod author for making this wonderful mod!
Installed the plugin, ran the oblivion songs thru the converter, hopped in game and the FIRST song i hear is Alls Well, my happiness is immeasurable as Oblivion is my alltime favorite game and now my modded Skyrim has bit of those sweet tunes and vibes that made me love oblivion
2nded this, i mustive done this several times but dont know if i actually did it correctly or not Edit* so i did manage to get it to work but theres no way to actually know if you did do it right or not but just wait
So perhaps this is a bit late, but Skyrim Anniversary Edition actually includes a handful of Oblivion tracks, but they haven't been integrated into the world and can only be found in CC dungeons (like Champion's Rest and Solitude Sewers). The tracks included are the combat track "Daedra in Flight" as well as five dungeon tracks, such as "Wind from the Depths."

My question is, how hard would it be to make a mod integrating these AE tracks, since they are now shipped with Skyrim?
Thanks for the guide & mod, this is exactly what I always wanted and needed in my skyrim game as I love those Oblivion Explore and City musics, but never knew how to do it. I used another converter than the one recommended I think, but it works perfectly! I love it, thanks again.
Not trying to sound like a noob but the way this mods installation is explained is extremely confusing can you please explain how to do this step by step like im a 5 year old? Also Skyrim Audio converter just fails every single time on windows 10 pro version 21h1 not sure why.
everyone here making comments on your posts are nothing but trolls. Heres the music file name for each music name to replace on your game https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Music. Then copy the music from oblivion and use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8303/ to convert mp3 files to xwm. You need to add them yourself btw.
