I'm a little confused as to the description of this mod. I seen it mentioned as a way to revert/disable the changes made by USSEP (for those of us who don't use USSEP but are trying to install a mod that "requires" it). So, does this revert/disable USSEP?
It reverts some, but not all, of the changes from USSEP back to vanilla. (Assuming you put it after USSEP in the load order so it can override it.) It does not completely disable or revert USSEP, it only reverts some of the more controversial changes that aren't really bug fixes. (Unfortunately it sounds like there isn't a complete list of which changes it reverts).
Hello. Thank you very much for the mod. Tell me, is it possible to adapt this mod to USLEEP? Can a person far from modding do this on their own, or does it require a lot of serious work? Thank you.
Hey, I'm considering using this mod but I've read that the list of changes was deleted, which is unfortunate. It would be nice to add in the description some of the most relevant changes it reverts so I know what I'm installing. Thanks for your time.
I'm pretty sure this is another one of those stupid "fix USSEP's overreaching" mods, and the author is being coy about it so that Arthmoor doesn't go on the warpath as he tends to in such cases.
That or it's a fix for wild edits by someone that doesn't know what they're doing with xEdit.
Sometimes you are forced to install mods that do things you don't want because they are required by mods you do want. This patch seeks to help make that less of an issue.
It reverts common wild edits that are found in many mods that reach outside of their initial scope, essentially ensuring that the original design intent and balance is preserved while not undoing any bug fixes or needed mechanical tweaks.
USSEP is a required master for many/most mods yet many user's do not agree with a lot of the changes that were more of a personal taste edit instead of a correction/fix. The mods that require USSEP for a master in many cases also carry those edits. To correct them you either don't use the mod OR you create your own patch and edit them out. Anytime you add a new mod that carries those edits you are now deconflicting again. This will allow you to download one file, load it after any of those edits and you will be closer to vanilla but with the bug fixes. This creates a safer middle ground for mods that do not carry the edits.
Many of the changes in USSEP are purely subjective/headcanons based on the creator's views rather than actual patches or fixes. This mod removes those.
