2. When should I activate this?
After you complete the Civil War questline in favor of the Empire.
3. Will this be available on console?
Probably, but don't count on it coming anytime soon.
4. Where is the ESP version?
It's forthcoming. I have a lot on my plate right now and getting my mods ported isn't very high on my list of priorities. It will come sometime around Christmas at the earliest.
5. It's not working!!
You need to be more specific.
6. Rikke won't follow me!
- Make sure you've finished the Civil War questline in favor of the Empire
- Make sure you don't have anyone else following you
- Re-run the BAT file
- Disable and enable Rikke in the console
7. Rikke won't marry me!
She's just not into you bro.
- Make sure you've spoken to Maramal in the Temple of Mara in Riften beforehand
- Make sure you're actually wearing an Amulet of Mara
- Re-run the BAT file
- Disable and enable Rikke in the console
8. Will this be available on Bethesda.net?
The PC version will NOT, the Xbox One and PS4 versions WILL!
I feel like I am really late to the party, but if anyone else gets this awesome little mod, I made some changes to the bat file text that seems to address the issues I see popping up in the comments. (Use either windows notepad or the free notepad++ app, save a backup just in case)
(This allows her to be high enough disposition to follow you as a friend, 2 was too low of a rank for the "follow me" option to pop up.)
And since I noticed she was still low level I changed this line-
prid 000198bb setlevel 1000,0,1,100
The original had setlevel 35. That does not work if you want the npc to level up with the player.
Hope this helps! Thanks Mod author for the awesome little file. I copied and used it on a couple other NPCs (changing the refids and file name of course), and I can confirm it worked fine to make them more agreeable to join me on my adventures.
I also followed the instructions and it does not work. Placed the .txt file in the sse data file, typed bat followerrikkesse in the console, and enabled and disabed her, re ran the bat, it literally does not work.
Doesnt work for me i did everything you say in the description but she still doesnt care i can tell her to follow me but she just wont she just leave i tried to relaunch the bat, tai her multiple times
That moment when you search google all around for what the quest "In Favor Of The Empire" is and when you get it, only to then realise it was ment as completing the Civil War questline on the Imperial side. xD
Huh.. looks interesting. Question, what would happen if you activated the mod /before/ finishing the Civil war? I notice you say it's best to activate it after. Why is that? Just curious.
I can try, but Tullius has a unique voicetype that doesn't have follower dialogue, so my console magic alone probably won't do it. Don't expect a miracle.
Does this mod enable the existing character to become a follower, or is it a follower separate from the original Rikke? And do you perhaps know of a similar mod for Hadvar? I want him as a follower. If not, do you think you can create a mod that will enable Hadvar to become your follower? Please
1. It enables the existing character to become a follower
2. No, I don't know of any similar mod for the Special Edition.
3. It depends. Hadvar has a unique voicetype, so it isn't a matter of just punching in some console commands like it is with Rikke. I certainly can look into it, but don't expect any miracles.
Cool, just for comparison, here is what she looks like in my game, always forget how plain she looks in the vanilla game. lol http://s29.postimg.org/jac6xu4av/legaterikke.jpg

2. YES, I will make other followers in the future.
3. NO, I do not know if I will be able to make certain NPCs with unique voicetypes into followers (Tullius, Hadvar, etc.).

My PC mods are Nexus exclusive.
In this section I changed it to-
setrelationshiprank 000198bb 3
player.setrelationshiprank 000198bb 3
(This allows her to be high enough disposition to follow you as a friend, 2 was too low of a rank for the "follow me" option to pop up.)

Cheers!!
Activating it before you finish the civil war will bork the civil war itself.
Like when you ask him to trade " Tell me why am I wasting resources " or recruiting him " Of course " or " Let's get this over with. "
Dismiss " Carry on. "
Other follower dialogue, forgot if there's one on tactics, but quotes such as " Right. Well? " might come in handy and the use of " Of Course "
