For people who work differently in the brain, here is a description that would have helped me out of my aberrations:Creates a folder with the corresponding abbreviations of the game it is about, e.g. SSE, inserts another folder named pack into this folder. As well as "pack.bat" and "BSArch.exe". Adds the file to be packed in the pack folder and click on "pack.bat". Now a "new.bsa" is created in the same folder.
Unpacking script don't work on multiple files. Fixed version:
Spoiler:
Show
@echo off setlocal For %%A in ("%cd%\*.bsa") do mkdir "UnPack\%%~nA" For %%D in ("%cd%\*.bsa") do cmd /c bsarch.exe unpack "%cd%\%%~nD.bsa" "%~dp0UnPack\%%~nD" /mt /q pause
I will die with printed screenshots of all positive comments on my mods to show to the winged dude at the gate. - See? I redeemed that mistake with the Star Wars party and glowing condoms. Let me in bruh
I spent hours trying to get archive.exe to pack a bsa file before I found this. This made it so f***ing easy. 11/10 very nice
Edit: spoke too soon, CTD on startup when using this new bsa. All it is is 'Skyrim - Textures4.bsa' with the .dds file for one armour swapped out for a different armour. Double checked and all the files are correct so not sure why it causes a CTD.
Texture archives in SSE must always be compressed due to the engine bug. Uncompressed ones crash the game.
