Some ENBs will make the vanilla moons very bright to emulate glow. If you are experiencing overly-bright moons when using the glowing version, check your ENB settings.
Go to the [Sky] settings, and try lowering MoonIntensityNight (and Dawn / Dusk) to 1.0 (or lower if there is a lot of bloom.) If an ENB uses multi-weather configs you may have to do this for each of the configs.
I also really like seeing screenshots, so feel free to upload images of how the moons look in your game!
Hello, I'd like to ask if it would at all be possible for the non-glow version to also come with a plugin that reduces the size of the moons (to the same size as the glow version). I use this mod with Moons and Stars - Sky Overhaul SKSE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com), which alters the rotation patterns of the moons. Because of the size of the moons in the non-glow version, it causes overlap between Masser and Secunda. When this overlap happens you still see both moons in full, transparently clipping into each other.
Edit: I think, in general, there are strange things going on with the moon sizes. For the glow version, the moons are always vanilla-sized regardless of if I have the size plugin turned on or off, while the non-glow moons are always significantly larger than vanilla.
Edit #2: It might be that this mod interacts weirdly with Azurite Weathers (since that also touches the moons), and that that mod is for some reason creating the weird size issues between versions.
i need help, the mod was working great but then i installed picta realis and all things required, as soon as i put the picta realis files in the directory my moons have no texture. ive tried for hours but cant get it fixed.
Love the mod! Downloaded the glow version and the moons were very intense. It may be worth mentioning that I followed the instructions and lowered the intensity of the moons in the Rudy ENB. I experienced a 10-20% drop in RAM usage and about a 10FPS increase.
I love astronomy and astrophysics. I use cathedral weather to have the beautiful milky way in the night sky and I have a mod that I can see meteor showers. This will make me even more stare at the night sky for hours lol Thank you so much! Endorsed. :)
Now I need to find mods that show me supernovas in the sky(like what is happening to beltegeuse when it will go supernova and we will see the light from it for months) and huge asteroids at close approach to earth haha :)
If you know mods like these, let me know or someone please make them!
