Yup, I second that. I'm only here because of the backpack (though I like the leather boots to ;) ), it deserves its own glorious release! Really great for immersion when you play survial mods and stuff. It would also for that purpose be great if you could craft the backpack at a tanning rack like the ones from the Campfire Mods. ProtectorNova you can of course get just the backpack manually by extracting the zip file, deleting everything that is not backpack related (the file names are pretty clear about that) and repacking it and than adding it to through your modmanager or copying it to your Skyrim folder (not recommended). But since you can only get it through console command player.additem (or the AdditemMenu mod) anyways why bother? Just add only the backpack and be its all good ;)
Hey, Hype1, I realize it's probably been a bit since you've even... looked at this mod, but I recently did a proper conversion of this armor to 3BA for personal use.
Short summary of changes: - Re-weighted the top, bottom, shawl, and backpack using the uniboob reference. - Swapped out the reference body with the top for the 3BA body. - I did end up removing the mug on the backpack, because Outfit Studio was complaining about unweighted vertices I couldn't see, and I wasn't about to redo half the backpack weighting again on the off chance I didn't copy weights over to it.
This not only addressed the issue of butt physics not playing nice on the trousers, but also relieved an issue I was having with the trousers where ankles were disappearing. I was curious if you wanted the converted files to add to the downloads section?
This mod is hype! Haha couldn't resist . Great work! I love the armor, clothes and the backpack. All awesome! Endorsed and I'll be watching for new stuff from you. Thank you for the content!
I really like the leather outfit, especially the boots look great. The secret star and best part however is that backpack. Just such a lovely backpack! ;)
Quite a while ago, I tried the mod and fell in love with the design, models and textures. Like many have mentioned, things didn't quite work. I removed the mod and looked forward to using it again some day.
That day is today! Awesome! There are still a few kinks, but they can be worked through depending on mods the player is using.
Bodyslide Issues, Pants: My character's butt kept poking through the trousers. I remedied this by creating a separate bodyslide to only run on the bodice. I reduced the "Apple" shape of the butt from 40% to 20%. Now it is rare to see the butt peek through the trousers. Note that I use the 3BA body where I can turn off and on CBPC and SMP. I don't believe the armor/clothing supports SMP so it is all about CBPC.
Physics Issues, Armor: I love the ability to put on the armor, or not, over the bodice. That said, the armor has no option for physics, which is fine as metal/heavy leather shouldn't bounce. I ran the bodice with physics, so the bodice, unfortunately, would move past the armor. This can be solved one of two ways. Either run the bodice through bodyslide with no physics OR use another mod like Sinful CBPC where you can change the settings of the bounce for the chest and save it as a preset using slots. I like the chest bounce when not using outer armor pieces, so I use a setting that supports movement. When I want to wear the outer armor parts, I change/load the Sinful CBPC slot setting that is firm. No more bodice peeking through the armor's chest piece.
Thank you for taking the time to update the mod and share it with the community. I also appreciate the efforts of your friends who helped you to get it to all work together. The armor set is really great!
