For those interested: The Mod was originally created for default Skyrim (where it is still available aswell: Here) and now converted from there by loading the respective File (Main DL and Optional DL) in the new CK for SSE and saving the Mod - afterwards both File's were cleaned using SSEEdit.
I did basic testing for both Versions for SSE by loading the Game with either installed and checked a few functions aswell as a quick glance for any visual glitches. But one set of Eyes usually can't see everything. So please feel free to use the Bugs Section of this Mod Page should you encounter any Issues. I will try to recreate and fix them.

Look very cool and usefull but the location of the house are too far on an area i won't really go; let me explain myself: i'm doing a vampire hybrid playthrough and i need to have some house on strategic area where i put follower i can drink on and yours are in a very rare go zone.Otherwise it's very cool looking :)
I know this is going to sound stupid, but where are the alchemy and enchanting tables? I can't find them. Downstairs? All of the smithing tools are down there and a spare bedroom.
well, to be fair they are pretty well hidden If you are facing the Stairs leading down but still standing upstairs next to the "office" area you should see a cupboard/wardrobe standing between the left side of the stairway and the wall .. that one has a hidden compartment in it that leads to the alchemy and enchanting sections .. and it isn't the only one of those .. downstairs is another one in the "guest room" ..
Thank you so much. This house is awesome! I've tried so many different mods and this one is the best, by far, in my opinion. In Oblivion, of all the vanilla homes I liked the one in Bruma because I liked the setting (cold and bleak but cozy and comfortable inside the house). That is what this home reminds me of...not to mention all of the great features. I love the hidden rooms and all of the dedicated storage. ...And unlike other mods it's not ridiculously huge or cluttered with too much stuff. If I could add one thing it would be some grow-beds for growing alchemy ingredients but that's no big deal. I love this mod and I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know.
No problem - and sorry for the delay in replying .. happy to hear you do enjoy the little mod quite so much, glad to hear it. Have to admit never got the player home in Bruma, or for that matter any of those in Oblivion apart from the Anvil one I think. But also happy to hear it reminds you of it in a good way! Thank you for the recommendation aswell, very much appreciated!
Would be nice to see some auto access containers for enchanting - alchemy - smith/tanning/grinder/workbench/smelter. as seen in homes like Frostvale estate and skyfall estate if possible. much neater than having a storage container for every individual type of item The home itself feels a little cramped too many things jammed in one room feels very claustrophobic, if you were going for that feel, all good, disregard this comment, its just not my taste personally
As is Auto Sorting/Crafting or any kind of automated Inventory Management System is not gonna happen, not in this one at least.
For me personally such a system has to make "in world" sense - hence either in a high tech Dwemer Home or a very clearly Mage-Themeded home. Since this one never was meant as either of those themes it makes no sense to have any kind of Auto-Inventory in my Eyes - so not even in consideration for this one.
Additionally this was always meant as a ESP only Mod and the methods I know to achieve any kind of automatic system require at the very least modified versions of vanilla/DLC scripts and if optimized properly custom ones - and hence would also go against my intention of keeping this mod as simple as possible.
In classic Skyrim there was a Dynamic Auto Sorting Mod for those that couldn't deal without it - not sure if that is / will be ported over though.
I regards to layout and Size - seen as that each item is handplaced, yes that is the look I was going for - like a home that has a history, has been lived in for a long time and hence gets a bit cramped due to all the things the owner wants to keep as heirlooms or mementos.
so its an immersion issue for you, fair enough. its otherwise a nice player home i liked the idea of using a hidden valley to almost give it its own little world type feel. keep up the good work!
I have some issues with some mods having too many clutters, but Fimbulvetr Retreat works like a charm Alex, nothing wrong to report. This isn't your fault, I couldn't get a good lighting in the cave to take some good images, all is good in the other areas.
Very light weighted, yet, very complete home with everything someone would wish for, even more. You built this place for your storyline with Kynthia, making it available to the community is a wonderful gift.
Thank you very much, glad it does work. In regards to the Cave, well it is a rather dark place so it can go pretty quickly in regards to good lighting in there .. might add a few more actual Lights down there as currently it is rather dim ..
Glad you do like the House as a whole though, do enjoy it!
Do not worry about the cave Alex, it's the vampire touch of the place and it's normal it is dark, it's perfect as it is. Eventually a proper ENB should come out, or some lighting mods to help, as in the original Skyrim...not to mention someone with better abilities to capture in this type of place. No need to adapt for screen-archery, gameplay should come first
In the Description there is a Location Section in the Spoiler Box - basically if you follow the Road outside of Windhelm, near the Carriage, towards the East you will eventually end up at a damaged Tower after passing several of the Farms near that Road aswell as a ruined House filled with Bandits - once you are there turning away from the road to the South up a small Hill will lead you to the Entrance.
