I still painfully remember my first taste of wasabi when I ate a mouthful in a Japanese restaurant; I torched the place afterwards, coz I'm the dragonborn and we were vikangz an shiiiiiit!
Regular tropical chilli: chill first impresssion, and then the heat will stuck for awhile Wasabi: doesn't mess around with its electrifying taste, yet it will quickly fades away leaving you want more.
I don't know about real wasabi, but the trick to eating wasabi made from horseradish (like 98% of wasabi you'll likely eat), is to NOT breathe out of your nose. There are reasons for this, chemical reasons, but in short, the irritation comes from a certain molecule in a certain part of your nose. Don't breathe out of your nose, and the molecule never gets to that place. Eat wasabi like a pro.
I love that piece of lore and how silly it is. Btw Nords have frost resistance because one of the 500 shagged a Frost dragon... Yes that was sneaked in (along with his son and dragon wife). Nords were also occasional supposed to have patches of scales and feathers instead of hair thanks to being partially Dov/Jill. Giants (14 kinds of them) also came over from Atmora in service of Ysgramor and the reason why giants are peaceful when given cattle is an ancient magic contract.
Posted this to the oldrim nexus ages ago, just realized I never posted the conversion. Today this clearly incredibly essential oversight has been corrected. This and the oldrim one are identical.
