I dont know if Frost Resist does anything about that effect. Cause i think it should in some way, either less duration of it, chance to not be afflicted by it, less magnitude of the effect, or even a combo.
I'd suggest a mod that eliminates mage's ability to sprint backwards and dodge arrows like Neo from The Matrix while dual casting, which is just ridiculous and makes the Slow effect of Frost spells so enfuriating.
To be honest the slow is the only reason Frost magic is viable. Removing that just makes them utterly useless lol. But yes I agree the slowdown is truly annoying for heavy armor users.
You are definitely right that this really neuters frost as a school. Certainly folks who like that element in their games will hate this mod hah. Personally I usually like to go very low magic on my play throughs and man is it ever annoying to deal with that one frost mage kiting you around a dungeon!
