several problems when running DynDolod alpha version 169 in error in SilvermoonMansion - NOTWL Patch.esp it concerns most of the trees an idea because apart from removing them I don't see and each new execution it finds me other errors for the trees
Anyone know if anybody has done one of those companion maker-overs for this home, where children's beds are swapped for unowned adult usable beds for companions?
I am torn between Skyfall, Elysium, and Leaf Rest, as to the house of my DB's dreams... and basically ONLY live in one of those three, ever. 'Bless this house' them, move in my wives... and my six kids...(multi-adopt mods obvs)... then move any mistresses in to the other two, whichever one I have not moved in to :P So children do not matter for the rest of my homes.
This one is lovely...though perhaps a little impractical in some ways.... but the most problematic thing, is the outbuilding for followers. Three beds, in a dirt floor shack, tacked on almost, it seems, afterwards? Hmmm... not gonna lie.. a bit... meh.
Get rid of that, for planters, maybe a ferry? Nix the kids the beds, and place four follower ones? Maybe attached the 'farm hand's' house to the main, modify the cell interior to match, toss in some more beds? Well to me, it looks pretty obvious a possibility for use of space.
So I figure it worth asking, because I have seen many mod houses get the kids out, followers in treatment, and this being one where it seems to obvious a move, I am really hoping someone did so here too, and anyone might be able to point me to where to grab it.
Mandragora, I love your stuff, but this one... this one just let me down, man.
The gazebo and the watchtower seem to be in better shape than the "mansion" which is actually a rundown farmhouse. The main entrance path isn't even an actual bridge but a makeshift pier, and the first thing you see is some hobo living in a tent right there roasting some meat. The watchtower watches over... the water, and not over the "bridge" leading to the island, so what's the point? The flora of the island is overgrown and the place looks like a farm but there is no farmland except for a couple chickens behind the trees. It rather looks like some ramshackle unmaintained farm village of sorts with all the random peasant clutter everywhere rather than a mansion. It doesn't even have any sort of design or general planning, what happened?
I'm sorry for being "that guy" but I honestly can't endorse this seeing how good and clean your other mods are in comparison to this.
Very.... ramshackle.... for sure... though that is what drew me to it, though I have since found it less and less practical, and it now just sits in my game abandoned almost, for those reasons... though I find it hard to articulate such things without sounding scathing, at best, or rude and hurtful at worst, so I for one, am kinda glad you're 'that guy' who can appropriately express the issues, without sounding entitled, rude, or hurtful (unlike myself lol).
Is there a way to get my spouse into the actual manor? I used the bless home spell from Hearthfire multiple adoptions but my spouse wants to stay in the guest house. Is there any way to fix this?
OMG! I didn't finish downloading it! lol I could have swore I installed it, Oopsie!. that said, now that I have looked around it, WOWE this house does not get the love it Deserves! Its great finding a Home where someone takes the time to, not just plop down a house, but a whole home, garden, shed, tower, trees, landscape. A whole package! Really wish more houses were like this. Also thanks in general for responding! Its nice to be able to talk with mod makers, knowing a mod is still 'living' and isn't abandoned
This is a lovely place and great house ("Mansion" is a bit over the top though) but it doesn't appear to be navmeshed correctly. NPCs, including the Guard barely move, neither do my children when we play a game. Companions can follow you in, but once in, if dismissed they stand around doing practically nothing.
