Actual godsend. Thank you much. This is one of the very last bugs I had to squash.

Works great. I thought it was alien crickets making noise. Sounds of Skyrim and Immersive Sounds don't touch this file. Reverb and Ambience Overhaul does not fix this but has this record. I will merge this into Reverb and Ambience for simplicity. I endorse this fix and kudos JoeJett for giving us an alternate method.

Yea alien crickets would be a nice way to put it XD
About merging with a other mod, If the mod gets a update and replaces the ESP you lose the fix. just keep that in mind.
It is good to know that the fix is of use to you.
      Enjoy

Update?! That's a dirty word in my pc. I don't let anything update. I run the most recent version of the exe that is compatible with my mod list and I never let mods auto update No no no. Allowing this would be allowing all my mods to break any other mods at any time in the background. I must be in control. Records will bend to my will and lack of knowledge. I will rule Skyrim with an ivory claw! THE MOONS WILL...... sorry.

      Aah nice XD
Sounds like you to have some trauma from it. I do understand.
I lost in total i think 5 mod lists becourse ''little updates'' and cound't fix it.
And these days with all those FF-ed up creation sh!t updates you really have to be vigilant about it.

I did this another way for myself. I found the offending sound and replaced it with a silent wav file. Do you think an esl is the better route? I'm wondering if that sound file is used elsewhere but I haven't noticed any problems. In case anyone is interested, the path is this:

    Data > Sound > FX > AMB > birdtree > amb_birdtree_lp.wav

Joejett that is a great way to get the same result.

I do not know what the best way of removing the sound is.
You let the sound play but the sounds file is sillent, I made it so it doesn't play any sound before the ''trigger'' is activated.
I don't think it makes a lot of difference, it is more what you prefer, and the ESL route was easyer for me.
And i don't know if the sound file is used elswhere in the game, the name of the file makes it look really specific for this effect.
Do you think there would be a difference in game? Don't think any prefomence loss or sound bugging out elswhere could be found.

I would have liked to have the bug fixed instead of bandaged but couldn't find any fix when i was looking.
Other people where having the same issue but no solutions, so I tracked the problem down for my self and wanted to share the peace and quite.
