Yeah if you're a follower of HM, you can find eldrich pages on enemies you killed, which can in turn be brought together to create books. This mod seems to bring the book creation process to the scribing desk instead of a tanning rack.
Probably obvious to you, but you should probably mention the specific legacy version you're referencing, incase anyone with a V4 thing comes looking here
Should work for both V4 and V5 since the scribe desk is available in both versions, the only thing that is different is the location of it. That's why I specifically didn't say where the desk could be found within the museum

Pretty cool idea honestly
