Late reply... but for the benefit of anyone reading this in the future, the reason it makes your other mod stop working is because they both modify the same script file AND you allowed this to load after the other mod in your load order, and so this mod's script file overwrote the one of the other mod (which in turn had superseded the vanilla script) and in the process eliminated its changes.
If you want both to work together, you would have to edit the source of both reworks of the vanilla script and merge their changes together (assuming that is possible, and it should be in this instance).
i think you should change the amount to fit its animation 3*1 9*1 a Multiplyed effect , because accoding to mining its calculated like that and the output. and you might want to do that at wood animation will be there, and its only output.
but i bet other will might say 3 9 27 will be enough as choise , and then you dont need faster animation.

Edit: Ok this is a no no for me. In game, it's nice to see it working but I'm not losing unlimited mining for this.
Still endorsing because it does work.

Any chance you will ever add a version number to it?
