I found a small bug with the mod. You cannot temper the shield from this mod. I looked into it in xedit and it points to the shield being tempered with the grindstone even though it is an armor piece and not a weapon. I believe that this is the cause for it not showing up in either the grindstone or the armor workbench. Just a heads up that that may be the cause since it isn't showing up for me.

This is beautiful, I feel like the shoulders should at least give a bit of an armor boost (And maybe a warmth boost for survival) and be able to feed off heavy armor perks or light armor perks etc. Other than that its wonderful vampire looking armor!

Hey mmccarthy4 would you consider making a dark fantasy Imperial/Roman themed armor?

If the file I am working on does not go missing again like it always seems to do when I work on this.

Does adding accessories to the armour require the ebony smithing perk?
(I'm probably being dumb asking this)

You are a bit yes. In the description it says steel smithing allows you to craft accessories. Always read the label. :)

This mod, and your blackened steel armor are great. Love the helmets and the waffenrock outfits for my female playthrough.  I also use PsychoSlammer's bodyslides with your mods for female characters. As a plus, the waffenrock clothing works well with some of the dark soul's helmets and gauntlets too. My necromancer never looked so good. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing the mod with the community.

Agreed! One of the coolest sets for the game, CC quality.

If you have any female body mods that alter the mesh or skeleton it might changer the armor. I use vanilla models I'll check it again for vanilla but I don't do compatibility patches for other mods.

using female body mods causes the armour to default to male meshes even on female charcaters, especially notable with the pauldrons which hover above the shoulders on custom female bodies

I'm using vanilla female body and can confirm it works/ looks fine to me.

      Great job too, awesome mod!
