Alright, so just a heads up- for some reason this mod doesn't work when downloaded from here. It crashed every time I entered the Bannered Mare. HOWEVER, it -did- work when I downloaded the Bethsoft upload version; the only issue is that it suffered from the black-face bug. This wasn't hard to fix, I just loaded it up with the Creation Kit, exported the facegen data and made sure that it saved correctly, and now he works.
The only other issue is that he doesn't use his crossbow, but that may be due to the fact that I'm using AFT. It's no big deal, he's an outstanding tank companion to my paladin wolf. All-in-all, it's a good mod that requires just a little fiddling- Endorsed.
I appreciate the endorsement I'll disable the downloads on this mod for now until I work out a fix, because this mod is the exact same one I uploaded (with a fresh install)
I've removed all of my mods and reinstalled + downloaded this mod from the nexus with NMM. No crashes, so I have no idea what would be causing it on your end. On Bethesda.Net, no one else seems to be having any issues either
Alright, I tried the Bethsoft uploaded version and it works alright, except that Kaj has a black head. Normally, this would make him look completely badass, but as the rest of his body is -green-, well... it's less impressive. ^_^;
I "fixed" the problem using the console- simply open the console, click on Kaj and type "setnpcweight 100" (without quotes). It'll reset him and change his scale-tone accordingly.
That's really strange, shouldn't the Bethesda upload automatically include his NPC skintone files as well? I know it wouldn't on PS4, but Xbox One and Windows should- damn, I hate these issues ;-;
