Thanks to FlyingParticle and Alandtse, we now have proper cubemap reflections in vr! Unfortunately, those using it will have to go back to the "blue paint" water lod. Would you potentially consider making a patch that'll allow for your water lod while retaining the new cubemaps?

Agreed.. The new cubemap reflections are epic!  However, I love the underwater effects of this mod, the algae, underwater rocks, etc.. Hoping that wolfman will make the relfection part optional so we can retain all the other parts of this amazing mod

Yea I ended up uninstalling this mod and reinstalling RW2 just to see the new reflections. They looked really good but I had to reinstall this mod. No offense to RW2 but this mod looks soooo much better in VR. So no real reflections for me unless this mod gets patched 🤞

The watergrass is technically compatible. You just need to delete the watercolor esps and dlls. As soon as I can I'll upload a new fomod that makes it easier to pick the pieces from SkyVRaan that you want. Longer term, I'll tweak my watercolor to work with the new reflections!

      Agreed 100%
I actually love the "fantasy water" color, as well as the underwater rocks and seaweed... AND the fixed waves!

But i also love CS, water caustics, and dynamic cubemaps. Right now i am SACRIFICING dynamic cubemaps effects on water because i do not wish to get rid of the fantasy water color i have grown very attached to! It's a staple of my Skyrim VR look.

does anyone know how this happens?
can't figure out how this even happened.. my reflections I think are also bugged but I think that has something do with ENB...
and then I have these giant lines I have no idea how appeared.. could also be the amount of mods I have or something but I only have like 3 that have anything to do with the water

This by far, is the best water mod I've used. It looks incredible, so much so that I want to dip hands in the lake to drink it up. Or at least, I hope this is the mod that's doing it, I have so many mods it's hard to tell.

Greetings, I'm having trouble recently, game crashes on startup (before bethesda logo) almost every single time and my crash log is always the same:
    Crash Log SE, version 2
    Code: 0xc0000005.
    Address: SkyVRaanAutoPatcher.dll+0xb400.
Memory at 0x20 could not be written.

Have you ever encountered this error please? It was working fine until a few days ago, I believe the only thing i meddled in was installing faster hdt to replace hdt-smp.

This helps indeed. You are using a pirated copy of Skyrim VR, which is not supported. Buy the game.

I see, I wasn't aware that this mod is incompatible, thanks for your reply.

Could you perhaps add a little more water opacity ? In shallow wate, you can hardly see the water at all. Otherwise great mod!

With the default SkyVRaan water, I've adjusted it so that the weather mod you use has a big impact on your watercolor. It looks really good with Obsidian, Onyx, and Azurite. With those mods, I think that the water color fits the scene.

I've noticed that other weather mods don't work as well with it. SkyVRaan will work with any other water mod, so if you prefer RW2, you could use that instead of the skyvraan watercolor plugin.

I use Onyx and I still would like to have a little more opacity. RW2 is not really an option to me, since it adds weird ripples and distorsions to the water surface when used toghether with SkyVRaan. Like I said, SkyVRaan is almost perfect, except the water opacity. Wouldn't it be possible to provide a version with lets say 33% more opacity? I would be very glad, since I can not change this by myself.

I actually use SkyVRaan and RW2 together. I guess the SkyVRaan plugins are overwriting RW2's colors? I should fiddle with that.

If you want the colors of RW2, I believe you can just disable the VRWaterColor pluggins to get RW2's colors (and save some pluggin space).

Okay, but I dont want the colors from RW2 (they appear strange in some situations). I'm fine with the ones from SjyVRaan, I just want a little more opacity.

You can play with the following parameters in the default watertype record in xEdit:

Opacity, Fog Distance - near plane, Fog distance - far plane

I'd recommend starting with the fog settings. You can compare with the vanilla water to see how I changed things.

Spent longer than I'd like to admit troubleshooting an issue with this mod only to figure out that it doesn't use the synthesis patcher anymore.  Honestly not sure what how that was breaking things exactly, but I was getting rare intermittent CTDs that from the stack trace were clearly related to this mod.

That isn't a complaint or a suggestion or anything, just felt it might be worth sharing in case anyone else has a similar problem.  This mod is great btw.

If I use the SkyVRaan WaterGrass .esp alongside Depths of Skyrim and Underwater Treasure SSE, will it likely get a little wonky with overlapping objects?

No, you'll get whichever record loads last. Although, I think depths of skyrim focuses on the sea, while I focus on the rivers. You might be able to use both.

I suppose I can just load SkyVRaan WaterGrass before the other two then to let them win any conflicts?

Also, do you think this and HQ vanilla tiny rocks (particularly the .esps included for making rocks not move) would play nice together?

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the comments: Is there a way to improve the LOD in the volcanic region. Up close the water is yellow but the LOD looks dark blue. Is there a fix for this?

Unfortunately, no. Skyrim only allows one LOD watertype for an entire worldspace.
