Please update this mod, your idea are incredible, if you supports all vanilla dragons with meshes and animations you gonna be the greatest modder in the comunity, i love your mod so much
I had always thought it was impossible to animate the extra limbs you give to creatures, without completely changing the skeleton as well. even Miliah monsters doesn't. But the model looks really nice. It only looks weird when walking
I really love the idea of this mod since it fits with the lore of the dragon language being made from the claws from the hands of the dragons despite not having hands, but I think this really could have been executed better. While they look fine in flight, the complete lack of animation on the arms makes them look really weird and awkward when they aren't flying, especially on the ground where they're weirdly positioned and constantly clip through the ground. It also doesn't help that the arms don't have bones, meaning that when you absorb a dragon's soul, they aren't reduced to bone and just stay there until they just suddenly disappear.
Overall a wonderful concept, but I think it needs quite a bit of work before it can truly shine.
(Also Paarthurnax turns fluorescent blue for some reason??)
The way to animate these for anyone capable is the following, create a custom skeleton for dragons akin to something like xp32, rig these models to said the skeleton, Then Create animations specifically for said skeleton and these dragons.
another possible way if you want upright dragons Walking Dragons rig it to the Vampire lord or gargoyle skeletons. Just my thoughts
