So im assuming we cant use 3ds max at all for nif. Files? I've tried for a week now to find a way to upload my meshes and i cant. Frustration setting in
I'm sticking with my Max9 install. While I do have 2012 ( although it is 32 bit ) left over from work a few years ago, I really don't like it, or any thing past Max9 for that matter.
Hey Cerberus, I've been also looking for a way to upload my meshes and since Nifskope's import setting is disabled for an indefinite amount of time I cannot find a way to do that. Have you figured out a way to upload your meshes into nif. files?
I don't work I'm 3dsmax very much, I prefer Maya I. I know you probably can just import to 3dsmax then export an fbx then import to Maya then export to 3dsmax rinse and repeat too use the plug in, like I have previously: But that it is just an extra step in in the pipeline that can corrupt a file or in my case delete or use the wrong file ( way too many nights working to the wee hours of the morning. ) is their a plug in or a work around to get this plug in to work in Maya. I do high poly models and textures for movies and Animation: but I would like to start doing a lot of stuff for the modeling community, and it dose not hurt you resume either.

You got a time frame that this be available for 3DS MAX 2017?
Edit:
Also checking around and not finding anything, but are there any other dependencies that this has such as VCREDIST2015 etc?
