I love how all of the different ore types each have their own distinctive color...EXCEPT IRON! Iron, by far the most common vein type, comes in a variety of colors, from fiery red corundum, to bright gold, to light quicksilver, and all the way up to brilliant white silver! How am I supposed to tell veins apart when iron looks like just about everything else?
P.S.: I see several folks bothered about the inaccurate name of the mod. I know this is a variant of an existing mod (and I'm not posting there because I haven't used the original version), but here's some ideas for alternative names which may be more accurate or less misleading: gleaming, brilliant, vivid, fluorescent, luminescent, glow-in-the-dark, vivid, gleaming, illuminated, lucent, radiant
Visually impaired older man here and GLOWING ...is a misnomer.

I'm using your optimized version of Glowing Ore Veins, but I'm still getting the original glow of the whole deposit. Would something like High Poly Project, Mator Smashed Patch, or even Synthesis interfere with it somehow? The files (I run the less glow version) are active. I'm just not sure what is interfering. EDIT: Forgot More Informative Console. It said CCOR was the last to touch it so I'll try to load it after that.
This mod does not work. I installed it via Vortex and it just will not show up on any list no matter how many times its reloaded or reinstalled. Current game version is the most current up to date version from Steam.
Thanks for taking the time to upload this silly little mod, I didn't realize how much I missed it until I ended up installing a different mod and realizing it sucked. This one, while old in its concept, is perfect.

It works correctly for me, in the second image I am not using the torch and I have the ELFX mod.
