if anyone is still here i have a few thunder sounds that you might be interested in adding. this would be more custom and way better sounding compared to other weather mods
pls help.. i cant tell the mod working or not because there is no rain since i installed it, and its been a week.. quite unusual. im using obsidian weather, is there a chance that ISTV6 changing weather pattern?
No changes are done to weather patterns by ISTV6. Only the sound descriptor is adjusted. Note that Obsidian Weathers already does a similar change but ISTV6 takes it further, so you may try to disable the ESP from ISTV6 if you want to verify. I would also suggest you open your entire load order with xEdit and check if something else is conflicting with anything in OW. Please let me know what you find.
I'm not getting heavy rain sounds, only drizzle? I have vivid weathers and installed the vw patch with the installer. It's loaded after vivid weathers esp. Edit: still not after disabling you mod, might be a conflict with audio overhaul and vivid weathers even though a have the patch for them installed already.
Hi there. This looks like a conflict between VW and something else. If you can post your complete load order I can give it a spin on my end and see what I find.

As I understand, this is not compatible with Minty's Lightning right? (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29243) As both mods likely do the same.
Minty's adds more random/assorted lightning strikes [TAG: Visual Effects/Particles]. This mod enhances thunder [TAG: Audio - Sound FX] and should complement Mintys.
I got briefly excited for the patch for Vivid Weathers, but unfortunately it only applies to the ESP version - can you throw up a patch that applies to randomthunder.esl as well ? Thanks !
Just noticed, for some reason Nexus is keeping the old .esl file even when I upload the new .esp ESL-flagged file. Tried it like 10 times in the past 30 minutes or so. I'm thinking I'll just give up and make a new all-in-one file with a FOMOD installer. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Edit: Done. FOMOD installer is available, with Vivid Weathers plugin independent from the main plugin.

I'm using Obsidian as well at the moment btw and it seems to be working fine here.
