This is the port of my LE version. The sword is offered "as is" with no intentions on changing anything whatsoever. Take it or leave it. The sword comes with a scabbard as well, which you can see when you have it equipped. Use either the main file for a standalone craftable lore-friendly sword, or the optional file for a replacer for the Red Eagle quest swords. Or use both files, if you like both a standalone sword and a replacer.
It's esl flagged files, so an all-in-one doesnt really matter. You can just use both alongside one another. If anyone extremely desires an all in one, they could merge easily it via xEdit.
Personally I prefer Unique Unique's Red Eagle swords, and this one as a standalone, but if people for some reason want this one for the Red Eagle swords instead of UU's, then there's the optional file for that. And thanks :)
Just kind of curious about the Red Eagle replacer and Elysium Estate, which it looks like you are using in the screenshots. I'm using a self-port for Red Eagle's sword right now from LE that dramatically changes the blade from the original. However, when I put that blade into the Red Eagle spot on the wall in Elysium Estate 4.3.5 the mesh reverts back to the original. Probably something to do with Elysium Estate, but I haven't found the mesh for it yet to replace it. Does your weapon do that as well?
I'm pretty sure that what happens is you place your sword into a container, when the sword is in that container, EE fires a script that enables a preset model on the trophy wall, since that is a preset, it matches the vanilla look of the item, not your modded look. And that also means there is no way around this, without editing the EE script itself. Several houses with trophy walls for specific items do this. If you want the actual modded items look, you will have to use normal weapon plaques and racks, or place the weapon wherever you want it with a positioner mod.
Thanks for the reply. Finding that was driving me nuts. I was hoping I could learn what you had done with this mod and replace Red Eagle's sword that way. Definitely looks like a good Reachman sword though. I just wanted something a little unique for Red Eagles blade.
Seriously, I didn't see it me either!!! I was about to ask the same thing. What about the 1stperson nif? I'm playing 1st person, so am I not need nif replacer for it?
I have no idea what you mean with that. Yes the sword works perfectly well in 1st person, you don't need any kind of additional of special object model for that.
If you check the official bsa, all weapons have nif for it and one more for 1stperson. For example, if you have/using the Elvish grand sword, there is one nif for the sword and one more (similar name) for the 1st person.
And I am using maybe 50+ different modded swords from this site, my own 2 included, and none of them have a missing 1st person model, so in that context, your question doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Obviously there's a 1st person model as well, if there wasn't, it would pretty much be a broken mod.

I know you probably have no interest in making another version, but just a stab in the dark - a 2-in-1 would be neat.
Anyway, thanks
This mod is now featured on my True Graphics and Immersion List
